I wouldnt mind so much as long as they do so destroying Peyton and the Broncos (again).

:D

I would rather they destroy us (only because that would mean we defeated Peyton, and a playoff win over Peyton is always reason to celebrate.)

Nononono.. heh

I would much rather lose to Peyton in a close(r) AFCCG than lose a third Superbowl... especially if that means Peyton loses HIS third.

Jared Allen on that DL is almost unfair. The numbers going forward would be interesting to see, especially since they have impending contracts to hammer out with the likes of Sherman and Wilson.

Bennett/Allen/Avril is an unfair pass rushing trio. Pair that with the best secondary in the league and a solid LB core, and that D will rival the 00 Ravens/85 Bears again.

No. Anything is better than a loss to Peyton. Literally anything.

Here is what Seattle will have for unrestricted free agents in 2015.

I was actually expecting the list to look worse than this. Positions with caps indicate a starter; lowercase is a backup.

RDE Cliff Avril
FS Earl Thomas
ss Jeron Johnson
LG James Carpenter
te Anthony McCoy
qb Tarvaris Jackson
ilb Heath Farwell
c Lemuel Jeanpierre
LS Clint Gresham
te Travis Beckum
olb Michael Morgan
lb KJ Wright
dt D'Anthony Smith
wr Taylor Price
CB Richard Sherman
CB Byron Maxwell
OLB Malcolm Smith

Arizona's defense could be better than SF's this year, especially if Navorro Bowman misses half the season.

It's quite possible all four NFCW teams could be in the top 10 in defense next season.

IDK, whenever we see a team that looks like they are loaded up on one side of the ball to be one of the best offenses or defenses in history, they tend to fail to live up to the hype. Seattle had a great defense last year and Allen helps the pass rush, but there are no guarantees that they will be even more dominant on that side of the ball.

And I don't see you will ever see a dominant defense like the 00 Ravens or 85 Bears ever again. The rules are too much in favor of the offense.

Sherman will want top money but I can easily see Wilson taking a very team friendly deal to keep winning.

Wilson's a Quarterback. Why would he take anything much lower than the 20m standard for franchise QBs? I think depending on what the 49ers pay Kaepernick, that sets the market for Wilson.

However Wilson can come back and say I've actually won a ring. I deserve more, I deserve to get paid like Joe Flacco did after he won his championship.

The fact of the matter though is that the Seahawks still have a lot of very good, talented players on relatively cheap contracts. They are the team to beat this year imo, not Denver.

Umm, except that the Seahawks just pulled an 85 Bears level performance in the Superbowl WITH those modern rules AGAINST the highest scoring NFL offense of all time!

Because he wants to win. Wilson is cut from different cloth than most people, those $20 salaries make it much tougher to field a competitive team and I think he knows it. I think he'll wind up taking a Brady-type deal.

Which is why the NFL Competition Committee is working feverishly to modify the rules so that NFL icon Peyton Manning can get the ring he deserved!

And all those #33 pick for Ryan Mallett hopes die, Billy O'Brien gets his 1 year fill-in

Ryan Fitzpatrick signs with the Texans

Backup QB money is unreal RT @McClain_on_NFL: Ryan Fitzpatrick gets 2 years, 7.5 mil, 4 mil guaranteed.

Corey Wootton signs a 1 year deal with the Vikings, per Adam Schefter.

It will be like the Ray Lewis retirement party run to the Super Bowl. All the calls with go his team's way, he'll be on deer antler spray and other PED's to help with his neck and still find a way to win the SB.

One game in the playoffs where everyone knows the refs let defenses play more and keep their flags in their pocket doesn't make an entire season. If that was a regular season game, the Seahawks probably would have drawn a flag every other play.

If they pass the pass interference can be called within one yard rule, the Seahawks will draw a flag on every passing play.
