Why are you commenting so vehemently about people's comments about other people's opinions about threads stating opinions?

I have a feeling this thread is about to be deleted. Just a hunch. With that being said I think the moderators do a fine job here and generally let the board run itself, although sometimes it becomes inmates running the asylum where there compelled to step in.

On a side note, I believe this site was created in March, 2000. If you ever notice Ian's join date he's the only one who has one before Sept 2004. I joined the site in '01 and the Sept '04 date is when they blew the site up. Life got busy and I didn't rejoin until just before the SB in '05.

I have been a moderator for some time now. Thought that when I deleted a thread the reason was visible to the rest of the community

The threads were not cut, patfanken was just asked to restructure.

On a serious note I think you all do a terrific job, and that comes from someone who has been booted from a thread or asked to place some on ignore so it is not as if I have never been held accountable for something. The board needs structure and you all are responsible for that, some people just need to look at the bigger picture, the occasional pain for each of us individually is part of the process. Also we all know the rules of this site so getting pissed off at the moderator for enforcing them is like getting pissed at the cop for giving you a speeding ticket when you cruised by the 55MPH sign at 80MPH, take it like a man (woman) and move the F on.

It is disrespectful to what Ian is trying to build and develop here to publically knock the people he entrusts to manage it. I get that emotions run high but situations like this are why this site has personal messaging.

Anyway like I said you all do a good job in my eyes, and I have been held accountable so I am not without flaw, and as far as Miguel goes considering all the work he does for us with the cap, etc. he has earned more respect and admiration then to be put on blast over something so petty.
