It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Allen Robsinson better have a stellar pro day his 40 time at the combine leaves alot to be desired. I think if the Draft was held right now Robinson would be available to us in the Second. Alot of WR's ran well at the combine too bad Robinson didn't.
I think Dobson ceiling is as a big bodied possession receiver. He doesn't really get huge separation.
I would be shocked if Thompkins gets cut (but I have been shocked before). The Patriots must have him signed to a very frugal contract, and you know how much they love that. Thompkins was not very productive last season, but I suspect he was injured. Unless Thompkins does something stupid off the field or skips off the offseason workouts, he stays.
Allen is a body catcher, he’s also likely to go early in the 2nd and I’d much rather get a O-lineman in that area assuming we go D-line earlier on. All joking aside, I’d much prefer Jeff Janis, later on. He has the speed to work the deeper parts of the field and is big enough to box out DBs who are likely to be smaller than him.
Count me in on Jeff Janis, my official 2014 Draft binkie. 6'3" 219 4.42 speed. Could be our Jordy Nelson
After Janis' Combine, I think he doesn't get past the 2nd round. Prior, he was probably a 4th.
Yes :rocker:
I love me some Janis, totally agree on him being our Jordy Nelson, he even kinda looks like him.
But he'll still always be the next Wes Welker to me
Boooooo, I want him in the 4-5th round, hopefully teams will hold his whiteness against him till we're ready to snag him.
Count me in on Jeff Janis, my official 2014 Draft binkie. 6'3" 219 4.42 speed. Could be our Jordy Nelson or Eric Decker, but with good speed. Amaro in the 1st and Janis in the 2nd, adds size and talent to our receiving corp. I'm still hoping we can sign a TE in FA (Scott Chandler would be my choice) and a WR in FA (Edelman or Decker would be my choice). Then add a TE and WR in the draft. Edelman, Dobson, Amendola, Thompkins, Boyce, Janis, Gronk, Chandler and Amaro would give Brady an insane amount of weapons.

Cooks and Beckham are legit first round options for me.
Mike Evans really impressed me too.
Have no interest what so ever in Benjamin.
Marquice Lee could be an option if he falls.
Like Moncrief a little later in the draft.
I think there is an opening for a playmaker on offense, and Beckham/Cooks have shown playmaking ability and the versatility to play inside and out. Now just need to see how they measure up on the chalk board.
This is pretty close to how I see it. Watkins, Evans and Lee will be gone and Beckham and Cooks are the most likely options at receiver when the Patriots pick in the first. I am not leaning towards a wideout in the first but if the board falls the wrong way and these are the highest rated guys left then I would be happy with either one of them. I was worried about Cooks size but after watching him at the Combine I feel like he is strong enough to stand up to the NFL. In terms of his play rather than just potential i think that only Watkins can match him as NFL ready.
As I said, i wouldn't necessarily go WR in the first but i do think Cooks could become and exceptional receiver if the Patriots teamed him up with Brady, and their receiving corps would only be a 2nd TE from completion. Imo Dobson, Cooks, Edelman and Gronkowski would make for a really good young receiving corps.

There fixed it for ya...I am warming up to Brandin Cooks myself we have done quite well with little guys.
I have a mancrush on the all-time SEC leader in receptions and receiving yards. Wow!
Jordan Matthews is Dez Bryant without the psychosis. A big body who is a leaper and catches everything. A more talented, durable, stronger, faster and explosive Aaron Dobson. Make Brady happy. Three-cone drill: 6.95 versus 7.19. Both can leap about the same. But Matthews did five more bench presses. Matthews is a tad faster and quicker. Make it happen!
A first-round talent we maybe can get in the second. And he played at Vanderbilt where he was the only weapon out there on offense that I'm aware of.
Does anyone know anything about him? Should I continue my mancrush? Draft Profile ? NFL.com
