Ok, the Pats may be done with free agency after the Britt visit. They are most likely done until they free up more cap space (although they may be delaying making Revis official until they solve the Wilfork thing because the word is now they are waiting to give Revis a physical to make the deal official). But assuming they are still not done, here are some of the guys I would like to see them go after.

Henry Melton - Unlikely because he seems to have several teams pursuing him

Pat Sims - Underrated DT because he plays in Oakland. Had 54 tackles and 2 sacks last year. Met with the Titans last week, but left without a deal

Chris Clemmons - He is a strong safety who can be physical and can cover. Played both FS and SS in Miami. Hurts a division rival while making the Pats better. Surprisingly no action on him this far.

Shawn Phillips - Would prefer Jared Allen, but he is probably pricing himself out of the market and retiring. Phillips could be a pretty good situational pass rusher although age is an issue.

Will Smith - Would likely be a late spring/early summer signing. Risk coming off an ACL tear, but will come cheap.

LeGarrett Blount - No reason needed.

Kevin Williams - If the Pats intend to draft a DT in the first round, Williams is a good one year stop gap. Shown last year he still has some left in the tank. Would make a good rotational guy.

I'd add center DeLaPuente and Fletcher.

Yeah, forgot about DeLaPuente. I think Fletcher is replaceable in the draft. Although I wouldn't be upset if the Pats brought him back.

I hope the Pats don't let Britt leave today without a contract. I want Philips to but would be OK with Corey Wottoon.

I agree with those two. They have to upgrade at center. Wendell was
terrible last year and Connolly would not be a good replacement.

Instead of Kevin Williams, I'd offer up Kyle Williams.

I'd also offer up Alex Carrington as a DT/DE

i like pat sims a lot as a big body run stopping DT and clemons if we are using browner at CB but that might be too much to spend on the secondary when we have other holes to fill

Is this guy any good ... DT Letroy Guion he visited???

James Jones is practically begging a team to sign him.

Dude has zero leverage at this point, he seems like a perfect suspect for the NE 5 finger BB discount. surprised we didn't get him.
