People questioning the 1 year deal should realize Revis wants it that way. His deal with Tampa was basically a series of 1 year deals devoid of guaranteed $.

He is supremely confident in his own ability and thinks this makes him the most $. So far he is right. His last 2 years will be $28m - at 14m per year blows away the average of other players at his position.

Seriously, this is awesome. The fact that people are now *****ing about the contract length just shows that some people are never happy, I guess.

I'd way, way rather have him at 1 year, $12M than at 6 years, $90M with $25M guaranteed, or whatever it would have taken to lock him in that long.

I was going to link to the ganggreen.com thread about Revis coming to the Patriots, but I haven't seen a sentence with out the "F" word in it multiple times. Every stroke unit within the Tri-State area is jammed.

Rapoport has tweeted that nothing is agreed too between bothparties. What does this mean?
