Brandon Lafell, huh?

"Well I am... over-*******-whelmed". :singing:

viable number 2 with a big body/catching radius, had a big game against us. Would rather have Lafell at whatever he will cost vs Decker at what he will cost if Im any team in the NFL. Both #2's at best but one will end up getting paid as if he were a 3rd/4th option the other as if he were a 1st. He can sort of be Dobson insurance as well.

A big WR (6'2", 210lbs). We'll see if he is signed by the end of the day.

He is decent, has potential w/Brady. Wouldn't be a bad signing. A viable outside target to go along w/AD.

Hmm... durable player who is nothing special as a receiver but is a solid run-blocker. Perhaps a contingency plan if the Patriots lose Edelman, but not as a replacement..

Good guy to add to the mix. Would love to add him and re-sign Edelman, rather than go all in on one guy like Decker. Seemed to struggle with consistency, but that could be a product of having Steve Smith and a mobile QB.

My buddy who is a big Panthers fan says he has good hands, but struggles to create separation and get open.

LaFell is a good player; I would love to see him signed. Solid route runner, good size, and an excellent run blocker.

Nothing about him screams good route runner to me. A lot of broken plays with Newtons scrambling to me.

Never really thought he was any good but if he signs I'll give him a chance and not just dismiss him right off the bat.

of course you're disappointed

Didn't say I was disappointed. Forgive me for not jumping up and down as if he would be some big signing. Arguably would be Brady's #4 target. #5 if Edelman returned.

yeah, he's great. The only thing he lacks is production.

blah, JAG!

patriots should go after nicks & jones or edelman & nicks.

A solid meh player who may not even make the team.

Donald Jones redux?

Never really thought much of him, but I do want a guy over 6 feet. I'm intrigued. Now bring in a veteran dt like Randy Starks and I'll be happy.

Seems like Michael Jenkins type player - that didn't turn out well.
