It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I don't know if I am going to listen to a rumor from a Washington area reporter about the Pats. I will believe the Talib rumor when local guys say that he is close to signing.
The whole Revis release mucks up things. Unfortunately, he won't be released until tomorrow and they might have to make a decision about Talib before that. Well, unless Jason Licht does his friend Belichick a solid and allows him to negotiate with Revis before he is released.
#Patriots offered WR Julian Edelman a three-year deal, per source. Would like an answer by the start of free agency. They want to keep him
Those close to Aqib Talib are surprised. Why? He has no standing offers just yet. No standing offers yet for Talib | Comcast SportsNet - CSNNE.com #PatriotsTalk @MikeGiardi
Sounds like the Pats haven't offered Talib a contract offer yet:

The Pats are probably gonna see if they can make a run at Revis before making an offer. If Talib's market is so slow, maybe they can get him for $5-6 million and have a Talib/Revis tandem.
No, it wouldn't. Many will complain about Smith's size, etc, but I think that he's obviously proven that he's a guy who will battle, can be depended upon, and offers a more physical presence than his stature suggests. On top of that, he is experienced.
I think we could do a lot worse than Steve Smith on a one year deal. It wouldn't solve everything of course, but it may be a nice start.
You're right. If I were Brady, Cleveland would be my destination, for sure. Holy $###...Won't be surprised if they let Edelman get away either. I can see him going to the Browns.
I'm sure Brady is happy about restructuring his deal last year, only to have the teams best players leave and the Pats bring in absolutely nobody worth naming.
If I'm Brady I call Revis and tell him to come here. Or they both go to the Browns with Brady demanding a trade there.

Nice theory. Two problems: 1) they're the Browns, 2) it's Cleveland.Do you even pay attention to anything outside of the Patriots?
You must be stupid not to see how that Browns team would be 1 elite QB away from being a top 3 team in the AFC if they landed Revis. Him and Haden, Whitner, Dansby on defense. Gordon and Cameron on offense.

And you seem like a real pleasant fella to be around. See ya...3) You sound incredibly ignorant.
