Gresham is big fast softhanded athletic TE and a good blocker he and Gronk would be a nightmare!! In 2TE SETS THE DEFENSE IS LOST. IT PRESENTS BLOCKING NIGHTMARE!!!Both of them are like having 2 xtra olineman And they are to good athletically for lbs and most safetys. If a team moves to dime we simply overpower them. After reading an NFL.com article i thought i'd start this up as a discussion on if any could pe Pats possabilities. A dark horse for me depending on the $$$ would be Santonio Holmes. Not that I can see to much of a chance but you never know as when healthy he can be a pretty good compliment to what we have now and should be cheap given his recent history.

The reason his Cap number is so high is because in 2012 and 2013 he converted a combined $21.2 million in Salary to Bonus.

It has been reported that he could be cut as soon as tomorrow. He had been in the 5.5-6.5 sack range prior to missing last season with a torn ACL (in August, so he'll have had time to heal). I'd take him on the Pats as a candidate for the #3 DE spot. I'd guess he has more physical ability left than Carter does (although I'd want him back for training camp too).
