OT: For those who hate Chris Carter

Doug Baldwin was in a feisty mood after catching five passes for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks blowout win against the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII. And he didn't forget that NFL analyst Cris Carter -- a Hall of Fame receiver, mind you -- hadn't been impressed with Seattle entering the game.

Carter called the Seahawks receiving corps "appetizers," and that there was no main course. That apparently didn't sit well with Baldwin.

For all y'all who called us, the receiving corps, average, pedestrian, appetizers -- I'm not going to say any names, but he knows who he is -- I respect what you did on the field, but stick to playing football, because your analytical skills ain't up to par yet. You need to slow down and go back and not do it half-assed and put some effort into it, because you're saying some stuff that didn't really make sense."

"That dude [Carter] who said that we were appetizers, he told me to Google him, and I did Google him, but I didn't see any Super Bowl appearances, and I also saw two losses in conference championships," Baldwin said. "I have a Super Bowl ring, and I would gladly show that to him. And if he doesn't have time to come see it, tell him he can Google it."

I'm not a huge fan of CC, but he was quick to say that the loss did hurt Manning's legacy. Meanwhile, Dilfer was trying to come up with a dozen ways to back up the losing QB.

Cris Carter, career loser. And Baldwin is right, he sucks as an analyst. When has he ever said anything of note? He just rambles on and on.

I can't stand Chris Carter. The only reason he is on TV is because the NFL Network is a cesspool of former players who can't cut it on real TV. While more coherent than Michael Irvin and Marshall Faulk, Carter has zero insight and is nothing more than a space filler.

Even worse, Carter is on ESPN. It's beyond me how this guy is still an analyst. He is bad, real bad. He's an idiot too. Good roast!!

Uh...Ok... we're waiting . Seriously Tho, the NFLN is as lame as the NFL itself is becoming. It's getting unwatchable as the years go on. Bitter washed up, has beens', or never beens' for that matter. Making stupid predictions that any idiot could make. And then never have to answer to it.
