Wes Welker's illegal pick

I used to respect Wes Welker....

But that was a dirty play. Going low on Talib when the ball wasn't even released. **** that guy.

I wanted to see someone target Welker after that go for a shot right at the knees and knock him out for the season

Don't blame the player. Blame the team that let him get away.

More like gently "nudged" out the door in favor of Amandola. Pats could have easily resigned Welker. They just chose not to.

Re: Wes Welker Pick Hit

I decided that I will be burning my Welker jersey after that **** he did to Talib.

Wait, wait, ...don't you guys understand what was going on? There was headhunting going on; before Welker took out Talib, Edleman took out Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. That was in response to Edleman being mugged a few times. I hardly blame Edleman fighting back but this was Welker's response. It was war out there....

Edelmen's leveling of DRC was a legit block after the ball was caught. One team being physical doesn't give the other the right to go for a player's knees.

I slowed down the replay. Welker hit him a fraction of a second before the pass. Hardly a cheap shot

I'm looking forward to the Seattle Defense destroying the Broncos.

Freaking A guys, stop your crying. It wasn't done to hurt Talib and we run those pick plays all the time. Stop acting like sore losers. The fact is the Pats were out played and out coached today. It's amazing these guys got this far with the talent on the team. Injuries would have destroyed most teams. This team had heart, just not enough talent in the end.

Do you guys honestly think we would have beaten seattle even if we won yesterday? I'd rather lose the AFCCG than lose another Super Bowl.

Wait till those piped up thugs in the Seattle secondary start tossing Decker and Welker around like a passed out prom girl. That will be fun to watch.

You are crazy not to believe that was on purpose....He didn't hit him and hurt him, He launched his body into the midsection of Talib causing him to get hurt....Welker saw first hand what happened last year after Talib went out of the game against the Gayvens and the same thing happened this game....I believe 100% this was done to injure....

Seriously.....

is there any need for this?

Know we all know what Welker's pregame speech was "Guys don't worry, after being apart of last years playoff loss with them, I know the key to breaking that defense apart. I got this... play of the game."

I will laugh my rear end off when Welker does his usual choke job in the big game and then gets cut after the season when his salary counts $8 million against the cap. Keep in mind that both Decker's and D. Thomas's rookie contracts are up and they are going to want to be paid more than an ancient slot receiver. By the way, how many of you Welker supporters would rather have Welker or Edelman now.

kharmas a *****

in 2 weeks, Seattle's defense is going to fold both Manning and Welker into a new shape.

Re: Wes welker illegal pick

...You can CLEARLY see it is a text book pick play. Talib was beyond 5 yards past the line of scrimmage when Welker hit him and the ball was in the air. That makes it OPI. Plain and simple.

I guess this might be what WW referred to as "sticking it in Bill's face," since BB called this play the turning point of the game.

I think Edelman did a great job replacing him....he's a little bubble boy looking traitor in his new helmet and hope he has a crucial drop to cost Manning a ring !!!

I've never seen the Patriots dive at a CB trailing a receiver on a pick play. You're saying you have?

Yup, and I hope Peyton rips him for it in his post-game interview.
"Welker cost us the game. He will be cut. If he's not then I'll never throw to him again."
