There are no words. Please control the doom and gloom and don't make it any worse than it obviously already is. I'm not happy about this one either and it's definitely disappointing, but let's at least be constructive in your reactions.

Manning is now 2-1 against Brady in AFC Championship games.

I'm going to go jump off a cliff now.

we need to upgrade the talent on this team. BB and Brady can get us this far. Personnel on defense is putrid, need better weapons for brady.

Great effort this year by this outgunned team. The D was bad but what can you do with a CB trio of Dennard, Ryan, Arrington vs. the best weapon foursome in NFL history?

I'm excited for the draft and the offseason.

I guess I'll start off by this: Am I the only one that has reservations about two of these fan favorites?

1. Vereen

2. Ch. Jones

BB needs to go draft linemen. Offensive and defensive. Also, quit with the short WRs because they aren't working.

We are getting Gronk, Mayo, Vollmer, and Vince back next season. They will be on a tear

2014 SB Champs: New England Patriots. You heard it here first.

We all know the game ended in the first quarter when Talib went down. After that there was no one to cover DT. Broncos could have won that game with Tebow. The running game was also a complete no-show.

The number one goal this off season has to be a legitimate outside receiver.

I can't get too down on this group. The win over Indy boosted expectations higher than they should have been. Great season.

Knowing the better team won today in their house makes it sting less than recent playoff years where a better Pats team would gag on their home field advantage in the playoffs.

We don't need to add that much talent Injuries Destroyed this team. Add Wilfork Mayo And Gronk see what changes

too bad our defense sucked when they were healthy.

Reasons we lost:

1.) their QB was better (by far) than our QB

2.) their OL was better (by far) than our OL

3.) their DL was better (by far) than our DL

4.) Talib injury

Reasons we didn't lose:

1.) Our WRs or RBs. WRs can't catch balls thrown 10 feet over their heads and RBs can't run through DL in the backfield.

Time to look to the draft (always a fun time), along with the contentious debate on whether or not to retain Talib.

Good season, even if this loss REALLY stings.

01. The OL was average at best in another big playoff game.
02. There may be truth to the claim that Brady has developed a habit of seeing ghosts.
03. Brady was poor missing many open receivers today.
04. The receivers simply aren't good enough to win big playoff games.
05. The lack of run game was an egregious miscalculation on the behalf of McDaniels & BB.
06. The DL gets no pressure on Manning all game. The team needs pass rushers.
07. The DBs were poor all game.
08. Arrington is being overpaid by 3 million a year.
09. Talib isn't worth a big multi-year contract because you can't trust his health.
10. The better team won. I have no qualms accepting that.

That covers some of my thoughts. Out of all of that, the team was beaten by a better team today. I can't be down on this season as the Patriots overachieved and fought through some amazing adversity.

As good as the Patriots are, they have significant issues to address in the off season on both sides of the ball. It should be interesting to see it evolve.

Go Seattle.

TFB needs to demand better talent. He reconfigured his contract last year and they gave him crap to work with

You and "Silver, Blue & Red" need to get an education on why the defensive backs had issues. The defense had issues because they didn't get any pressure on Manning. It wasn't that the CBs were having problems like you imply. They can only cover for so long.. But not understanding this is an issue for people who don't understand the game in general.

If you have reservations about a guy who was getting double and triple teams all game long (Chandler Jones) then you need to just stop watching because you'll never be satisfied.

Why do you have reservations about Vereen? Because of one drop today?

So for our 2 biggest FA offseason signings.

Talib: Injured in 1 quarter
Amendola: zero catches, one drop (I think)

No wonder we were outplayed.:bricks:

Well that was disappointing... :(

I'm gonna go find a place to cry now lol.

See you guys next season! GO Patriots!

THANKS ANYWAY

GRAZIE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

what a season also if we were unable to win today...
