Any suggestions on where to get tickets besides Stubhub? Not sure I would trust buying on EBay. Any first hand advice appreciated.

Stub hub all the way, if there is a screw up, you get your money back.

Im looking for 1 ticket.

Prefer not in the 500's

Ticketmaster's ticket exchange. However I've never had a bad experience on Ebay personally.

For what it's worth, our own PatsWickedPissah has a nephew who is very high up with a recent website called seatgeek, who shows and compares prices for all of the major outlets/brokers. I could be wrong, but IIRC I believe he may actually have even started the company.

Yes Jack Groetzinger, Dartrmouth grad is the founder.

PS......what is the most common expression spoken in Colorado this year?
Answer..............."eh"............as in...."Eh.....you wanna hit?"

Try the veal

The Ticket Brokers panic on Game Day when they are holding more than a few over-priced tickets. What was asked $300 for on Monday probably can be had for $125. Example: The best prices for SB tickets most years are on Game Day.

Nice plug, and I don't mean hair.

Why not pass along pertinent info when it helps our own?

It isn't like seatgeek isn't a very well known website/app anyway. It allows you to zoom in on any seat in the stadium, while showing you comparative prices for all of the major brokers; many of whom have already been mentioned by others in this thread anyway.

Regarding the SB, this year may be different unless there is a blizzard and the pink hats want to watch on TV. In NJ, there are literally tens of millions of people who are only a train ride (NJ Transit) away who don't have to worry bout transportation via air or hotel rooms... That alone will push up demand.

Stubhub. Guarantee tickets even if fooled by fakes. Pay more but 100% worth it IMO just from what i saw them do with a buddy. Tix were fake..upgraded him to row 1 on the glass (islander playoffs vs pitt last year)

While that's an excellent point, some also feel that demand may be down this year due to the game being held outdoors, 3 out of 4 wildcard games needing corporate sponsors to bail them out for having a local blackout (for the first time in many years for ONE team, let alone three), and the specific matchup available. Many feel that a DEN matchup vs either SF/SEA would keep interest much higher than if NE won in terms of locals, which whom you are speaking of who wouldn't need hotel rooms.

I've heard of some patsfans who were able to snag tix in Indy a couple of years ago for less than 1,000 apiece (face value was 700), and they weren't bad tickets at all. Some people really lucked out in the "wait until 30 min before kickoff" aspect.

At the moment, it's a bit hard to predict. The initial sales pointed to an upward trend, but supposedly that happens during the initial week of sales in every single year. We'll be able to get a better read in the next coming 7 days.
