Semi-OT: Cowher to Steeler fans: Get over Spygare

Think Florio will post this on PFT? Yeah, surrrre...

Does anyone happen to have a link to the interview Cowher did with BB? I was in a loud sports bar and couldn't hear much of it.

It never would have been a big deal were it not for Roger and self righteous turds like Tony Dungy and Jeff Fisher blowing it out of proportion.

Yep. That's why I hate Dungheap and wish Rodney would sink a fist right into the middle of his face.

lets see if florio and company pick this up considering he is a steelers fan.

Posting this would lead to a lot of views and heated discussion.

1) If Florio is simply a sensationalist, view-hungry businessman, he would post this.

2) If he simply hates the Patriots, he won't. He won't do a thing to help untarnish their reputation from Spygate.

I highly, highly doubt he or anyone over there will write a word on this subject.. even to scoff and belittle Cower's words. The net result of what has Cower helps to bring into focus how undeserved the hate is.

You mean the same Jeff Fisher who laughed on the sidelines when his receiver Bobby Wade
ended Rodney Harrison's season with a very cheap dirty shot?.....

.
So what you're saying is a coward torn between two forms of cowardice.

Woah, I wouldn't go that far.

Anyways, Cowher has said similar things like this in the past. Recently he was talking about how great Belichick was, then Esiason started to go on about Spygate. It was a little awkward and uncomfortable to watch.

I admit I have painted Florio into a no-win corner..

-If he writes the article it's because he's a soulless, view-hungry hack.
-If he doesn't write the article it's because he's a hateful, unprofessional hack.

I'm probably giving him too much credit.

I KNEW BB's hug would pay dividends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously, I feel like emailing this link to several hundred people I know.

Do it brothah!!:rocker:

In 2001 when we beat the Steelers in the game where they already had their bags packed, I sent an email (at work) to the entire Pittsburgh office that said, "Hey, I have one of those terrible towels if any of you guys want it....only thing is, it's soaked with tears".

I got reprimanded by HR and had to send them an apology.....but it was worth it!!!:D

Don't bother, they don't wanna hear it. They'll ignore it. They just wanna hate on the Patriots cuz they can't handle them winning again and again.

Well too bad then...because we are going to win again and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Goes right in my favorites next to Jimmy Johnson's article years back.

Steelers fans - who I've always thought were the second worst fans on earth - are divided.

Article Cowher dismisses impact of 'Spygate' - Steelers Fever Forums

Surprisingly a few voices of reason in there -

Re: Cowher dismisses impact of 'Spygate'

---------------------------------------------------------------

As much as I dislike the Patriots, I admire Belichick. He will go down as the best coach, so far, in history. You might bring up they haven't won a Super Bowl in 10 years. Consider that if they win Sunday, half of the seasons Brady started in, they went to the Super Bowl. Are you kidding me? Now that's success.

Consider the 70s Steelers to the 2000s Pats. Both hated around the league because of their success. People blamed the Steelers for doping, yet we know most of the league did it too, much like stealing signals. I'm not defending the act. Just saying if you're successful for that long, something has to do with the leadership.

I feel so much stupider since reading that thread.

Those fans are tools. Idiots too.

Steelers and Broncos fans calling out the Patriots for cheating is one of the truly great ironies of life.

Steelers and Broncos fans calling out the Patriots for cheating is one of the truly great ironies of life.

It's one of the reasons why I have PIT higher than even the NYJ on my list of hated teams.

They are supposed to be so "tough" and blue collar...gutsy...hard-working, etc; yet all they really do is constantly whine, whine, whine. I see them as the crybaby franchise and fanbase of the entire league.

You would think that, after all these years, a former player who was on the team from 2000-2006 would have came out and admit that the team knew what was happening because of tapes of outdated, irrelevant signals that every team had knowledge of from their own taping. No one has.

I can't believe this crazy conspiracy is still alive and kicking. Remember the large amount of 'tards that really believed that the Patriots were allowed to win the Super Bowl because of their name and 9/11? A lot of sports fans are stupid.
