Broncos defense vs Patriots offense

Not good. I want the Pats to win, but not due to injuries.

How could you possible ca the 2013 pats beating ANYONE aided by injuries????

Broncos defense

I don't care what Broncos fans did. I find it classless to cheer for injuries.

We aren't. But we also don't care or have sympathy given our situation.

That, I can agree with you about.

However, if the Pats can pull off the W next week missing 4 of their starting front 7 on D, with no pass catching TE and with NO downfield threat on O, then I won't look at it "less than a fair victory" that they did it when Von Miller and Chris Harris were out.

You really have sympathy for injuries to our opponents at this point? Wow...
LOL. Rob is probably my favorite poster here if you don't include the few that are mostly on the draft board but his hoping the other team won't have injuries is F'ed up when almost all our pro bowlers are out.

If anyone would like to give out sympathy for our injured cornerback, let me know and I'll collect all the thoughts and well wishes and send them along to Denver.

I'm sure they would appreciate it. :D

The Chargers thought the Broncos had the 2005 Champ Bailey and Antonio Cromartie from last year instead of the 2013 Bailey and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and decided to play conservative on offense for three quarters. Even Phil Simms called out Wisenhunt for forgetting the Broncos' secondary sucks until the fourth quarter.

The Broncos defense the same one that the Pats' faced in November minus Von Miller.

true but rivers barely had time in the first two drives , his oline could block or his WR couldnt get open. The article above cites a lot of broncos players stepping which Iam sure is being exaggerated to prove the point of the article but the chargers oline didnt really play well today initially.

You got a better chance of meeting God...and Belechick isn't doing any meet and greets this week...

A stress fracture in his foot. Supposedly, it is more about pain management at this point (at least I heard that on the radio from I think Chris Price). He tried to give it a go in the last game of the season and couldn't handle the pain obviously. Hopefully, three weeks later he can.

If I was a betting man though, I would bet against him playing.

Just pick up some weed front the concession stand in Denver and he'll be fine!

Take a good team that's January battle-tested but magically restored to September health, and they'd be prohibitive favorites against any actual January team in the history of football.

That includes the Pats and the Broncos. :)

Injuries are what they are.

It's not just the KT Loss. it's the KT, Boyce and Dobson loss all at the same time. Leaving Edelman, Amendola and Collie.

We just can't catch a break atm.

Stay classy! Meanwhile, all day I was hoping for A Boldin and D Thomas to pull up lame

If Dobson or KT is inactive, I dont see why the Pats cant use Slater. He has the speed. He did make that great deep catch against Miami.

The obvious solution: Bring back Randy Moss!

Looks like Chris Harris has a significant knee injury and will be out. I do not believe we will have a problem running the ball against the broncos, we had success last time but fumbles and an early deficit forced us to get away from running the ball. Since then, the Broncos have lost vickerson and Blount has emerged as a beast. Our oline is finally stepping up and Denver's lbs seem undersized. I think we can run all over them. Mark my words, we will have success throwing the ball. The Broncos' safeties suck in coverage and their D turned to swiss cheese once Harris went out. Harris was their most important corner and arguably played better this season than DRC. Just got to get a solid gameplan, stick to it, and execute it.

KT was useless out there today IMO. Heck I was actually happy to have a 100% Colle in game, than a 90% KT, or Dobson, or pretty much any other injured NFL WR. You can only decoy so long before the D realizes you are no real risk and adjusts and sloughs off of them. I think BB agrees, and I'm hopeful he held Dobson out to heal up one last week and get him as close to full health rather than risk him re-injuring when he probably wouldn't be truly effective (except as a short lived decoy) anyway.

not to be "armchair doctor" I would assume Dobson has an ankle/foot SPRAIN not FRACTURE... through my high school/college athletic career I was constantly on the trainers table with ankle sprains --- 3 weeks makes a huge difference even for the most severe sprains from my experience...

I know that is over-simplifying things - there are a million different ways you can hurt a foot/ankle I'm sure - but 3 weeks + a great tape job I would think he could give it a go?

the chargers offensive line looked like a sieve. rivers was under pressure all game long.made me appreciate just how good this patch work pats line is

It all comes down to which team can pressure the QB better. You give any of these QBs time in the pocket and they will find an open WR, regardless of who they are. SD got no pressure and let the Bronco's WRs get of the line easy. Im guessing another beast game from Collins. Move him all over the field. Is he gonna cover, is he gonna blitz?
