Great running game, i am glad for the win. However why was the commentator complaining about Allan? It wasn't his mistake that the snap was overthrown and had him been tackle down near the 1, it the colts would have scored at least 3 points, so at that point they could have scored between 2-3-5-7-9 points, however it turned out for the best.

What im curious about is, why was it not a touchback? a Colt player slapped it from the field of play into and out the back of the endzone.

Players of the game.

Defense: Jamie Collins

Offense: Blount

Unsung Hero: Logan Mankins!!! The entire interior line! Lets goooooo

i myself thought brady did an excellent job holding...

It was disgusting wasn't it brother... Luck threw a pass up for grabs that almost got picked off and got Hilton injured in the second and Dan is talking about what a great play it was.

I think Dan retired a year too late, he seemed confused on the muffed punt, the play there is for the kicker to kick it out of the end zone with about 2 minutes left in the half for a safety, not go down on the 2 yard line and probably give up a TD.

Bruce Allen ‏@bruceallen 36m
Yup, worst 12-4 team of all time, not very good players all over the field... Dan's right again. @Dan_Shaughnessy: I hate being right . . .

Stanford: Harvard of the West Coast.

The Colts fans seem poised to endure 25-30 years of interceptions and the ugliest QB in the NFL with Manning and Luck combines tenures.

I LOVED that the Pats played BULLY BALL and they WON with it convincingly! Ran the ball down the Colts throats, and then ran it down some more. Blount had an amazing game. Ridley was a good change of pace back and took care of the football. Vereen did his job on 3rd downs.

Really, really satisfying win. A totally dominant effort on both sides of the football. Oh, and that Blount kid, did I mention that he looks REALLY, REALLY GOOD?!

What a steal, we fleeced Tampa for a 7th and a track star. Thanks for the help Schiano + friends!! ;)

Ryan bumbled it, but it was a nightmare scenario for any punter. If the ball had gone into the endzone, the decision would have been much clearer.

IMO Allen's mistake was not kicking it through the endzone, but Dierdorf seemed to be saying that Colts ball at the 2-yd-line was preferable to a safety, which was just preposterous.

Just wondering what people think about the punting situation if Allen is out longterm. Should we sign a JAG punter or just let Gost blast bombs and save a roster spot?

I think you'd have to sign a punter. Can't go into the game with zero backup at K and P.

I have two big thoughts coming from this game.

1)I'm still in disbelief at how much Blount has developed as a player. When was the last time we saw someone improve in one season as much as he has?

2) Jamie Collins... wow, what an outing.

Two and heif: Arrington played ok in the slot today but still got burned a couple times... thoughts about subbing in Ryan for him?

Chuck Pagano:"Injuries is what hurt us"...

thanx, Chuck...so the Patriots still suck and it's all luck, eh?

I think the stupidest comment by Dan tonight was when he talked about this not being your parents Patriots; we won 3 SBs running the football and making good decisions in the passing game.

He clearly had possession of the ball, and he did look liked he was trying to lateral. It seemed like the right call, but i doubt that even the refs knew for sure what it was supposed to be.

Anyone, anywhere, at any point, who tries to play the injury card as an excuse as to why they lost to the PATRIOTS needs to have their head examined.

Like BB would have given a different answer? ANYONE could come to the SAME conclusion as you did. You are NO smarter than myself.

Have to sign a punter. Can't risk Ghost getting hurt while punting.

Because Colt player never had possession. If the Colt had possession and then lost it through the EZ it would have been a touchback and NE ball.

He's the same player with a much better OLine.

Austin collie - 1 reception for 15 yards and a 1st down.

Deion branch - inactive
