Patriots will host Colts in AFC divisional round. Bill Belichick scheduled conference call moments away. Belichick reaction to come.

Hmm, wonder what he'll say.

Jared is getting fat.

Well at least we have the best D remaining in the AFC

I wasn't aware the Mike McCoy was the Broncos offensive co. last year.

That is huge IMO

i think what matters more is sd's history vs peyton

they , like NE, know how to play him

if they can get some of that pressure against him that they got against dalton, that's going to be necessary

they usually seem to get good pressure on him

and of course they need to make sure rivers doesn't get destroyed

So if the Packers win this game.....

Brady
Manning
Rivers
Luck

Rodgers
Brees
Wilson
Newton

No Flacco or Eli winning a ring this year. That's one of the best group of 8 QBs left that I can remember.

gruden's playcalling reminded me of Mcdaniel on a very bad day.

Accidentally left the post-game on and heard a gem about each game this week being won by the best QB.

Alex Smith 30/46, 378 yards, 4 td, 0 int
Andrew Luck 29/45, 443 yards, 4 td, 3 int

Not saying Luck had a bad day, but I'd gladly take 65 fewer yards for 3 fewer interceptions. With all the great D's out (AFC) looks like we'll have each game positioned as a battle of the QBs, while if the games had been low scoring with mediocre play we'd hear about the virtues of defense winning championships.

Just as long as they have an angle.

What you heard on the radio is absolutely true, so what is your issue with it? Or do you think that Alex Smith is a better QB than Andrew Luck? Even if you just want to talk about yesterday, Alex Smith played a great game, but Luck made the plays with the game on the line and Smith didn't.

Anyone else feel like all this "aaron rodgers is best player in the league" talk is blatant disrespect to tom brady?

They are well coached, well prepared ... they are a good in all 3 phases of the game.

5 degrees at Lambeau? That's not that bad. I recall it was 2 degrees at Foxboro for the AFC Championship game vs the Jaguars....

I think they want to keep viewers tuned in to the next game .......

They fluff whoever is playing next ... they do it play by play by play.

OT: Pam Oliver got really fat and really ugly. Time to ship her off to the glue factory.

I'd love to see a repeat of this game! :D

4 surefire HOFers, one guy that is a SB away from being in that group, the heir apparent to those guys as the next great NFL QB and 2 guys with a ton of potential. Should be fun. But Kap is more in the Flacco/Eli class, and the niners should be considered a very serious title contender.

That's the problem with playing Indy, everything stacks our way, except Luck can light up anybody. If it wasn't Luck, I'd be ecstatic. Three INTs and he still won.

Luck can go F&^k a duck...:D

I hope for an easy win, but with that guy, we're probably in for another 60 minutes of stress.

They play on this crap field ...............

I took the statement to mean the QB who was better on the day won. I agree with you that Andrew Luck is a better QB than Alex Smith. I think to say he was the better QB yesterday when Alex Smith had a career day in a postseason game is unfair. You're right that Smith didn't make the plays at the end of the game (and he had plenty of time to work with), but he never should have been put in that position in the first place.

Just a matter of opinion I guess. It takes a whole team and coaching to win, but in terms of QB play I thought both played well, with Smith playing a cleaner game IMO. You post that stat line, your team shouldn't have lost, period.
