That is huge IMO
Accidentally left the post-game on and heard a gem about each game this week being won by the best QB.
Alex Smith 30/46, 378 yards, 4 td, 0 int
Andrew Luck 29/45, 443 yards, 4 td, 3 int
Not saying Luck had a bad day, but I'd gladly take 65 fewer yards for 3 fewer interceptions. With all the great D's out (AFC) looks like we'll have each game positioned as a battle of the QBs, while if the games had been low scoring with mediocre play we'd hear about the virtues of defense winning championships.
Just as long as they have an angle.
We'd be threepete this year if we'd just drafted Ryan Mallet like Mikey wanted! Curse you Andy Dalton! Curssseee yooouuuu!
Mike Reiss @MikeReiss 1m
Patriots will host Colts in AFC divisional round. Bill Belichick scheduled conference call moments away. Belichick reaction to come.
Hmm, wonder what he'll say.
Anyone else feel like all this "aaron rodgers is best player in the league" talk is blatant disrespect to tom brady?
i think what matters more is sd's history vs peyton
they , like NE, know how to play him
if they can get some of that pressure against him that they got against dalton, that's going to be necessary
they usually seem to get good pressure on him
and of course they need to make sure rivers doesn't get destroyed
So if the Packers win this game.....
Brady
Manning
Rivers
Luck
Rodgers
Brees
Wilson
Newton
No Flacco or Eli winning a ring this year. That's one of the best group of 8 QBs left that I can remember.
What you heard on the radio is absolutely true, so what is your issue with it? Or do you think that Alex Smith is a better QB than Andrew Luck? Even if you just want to talk about yesterday, Alex Smith played a great game, but Luck made the plays with the game on the line and Smith didn't.
That's the problem with playing Indy, everything stacks our way, except Luck can light up anybody. If it wasn't Luck, I'd be ecstatic. Three INTs and he still won.
