Guys he's just trolling. Sherman knws that the bigger his persona the more people talk about him then the more money he will get e.t.c

He does it to be talked about and you are talking about him. We all know rgers brady manning brees are all on another level, who cares what this dude says to get his article clicks up.

I kind of like his attitude ... NFL needs a few like him as long as they are not on the Patriots.

I'd take Richard Sherman on the Patriots, and you'd be nuts if you wouldn't.

I think Richard Sherman is an excellent troll.

Hell yeah he is. Just look at this thread. It's embarrassing what will set these people off.

HOW DARE HE RATE BRADY 6TH SMART. I WILL HAVE HIS FIRSTBORN FOR THIS INJUSTICE!!!

He got you guys good.

the fact remains that sherman is a db ped cheater and nothing he writes will change that.

"Karma is the Law of self-created destiny and everything in the universe proceeds according to this Law. It can be good or bad, positive or negative, depending entirely on the nature of the causes we set in motion. It is entirely impersonal, yet it is entirely just and fair in its working." - Buddha, the light of Asia

Loosely translated, it means "Richard Sherman is going to get burned badly at a crucial moment in the playoffs."

This post says a lot more about your mentality than it does about that of the people you apparently feel compelled to belittle here.

I respect Richard Sherman's talent and production. I'm even OK with his opinion on Brady's intelligence as a QB. His opinion. Whatever. People on this board bash Manning all the time and he is the discussion as one of the best QBs in NFL history.

The problem is that in the eyes of the educated fan, Sherman doesn't understand that he has a perception issue as a loud-mouthed, cheating, moron and his assessment of the cerebral qualities of a highly-decorated, future HoF QB like Brady carry as much credibility as mine.

What does it say about my mentality? I'm fascinated to hear!

Clearly you just don't care enough about this team. You don't feel these slights against people like Tom Brady who have never met you and would not care if you died tomorrow viscerally, leading to calls for the person who made the slight's death. You recognize that not every opinion is a personal attack against the Patriots, and therefore you for some weird reason.

Did I cover it?

Sherman is certainly entitled to his opinion. I'm not offended by it; I don't just think what he wrote makes a whole lot of sense.

I consider Sherman an intelligent fellow. Hes articulate, and by all accounts did well academically at Stanford. In my eyes he has some credibility.

My problems with the article's credibility.

1) He has the most popular Qb at the top of the list. 80% of the uneducated fans would do the same.

2) He has two in-conference QBs on the list.

3) He has his teammate on it.

4) He has his ex-teammate on it.

5) He has publicly stated the Pats have a "gimmick offense" and his only justification for him not being in the top 5 is the use of the BB quote? LOL.

Entertaining read but doesn't have any credibility.

Sorry - edited my post for a typo. I don't think what he wrote makes any sense at all. Anyone reasonable person would include Brees, Rodgers, Manning and Brady. The order doesn't matter.

As you point out, to include two second year players (albeit very good ones), one of whom is a current teammate and the other who is a former teammate, is just plain dumb.

Sherman is a joke. All he does is talk smack. I can't stand it.

What is the point of the article and this thread? "Smart" does not equal "good". Who cares who is smarter? I doubt any of these guys are rocket scientists. Dan Marino can barely string a sentence together and he is one of the greatest QB's of all time.

Brady has never been the most gifted QB as a passer or in athleticism. It's always been his intelligence and his commitment to studying teams and studying defenses. Brady is a machine of knowledge. Easily one of the dumbest statements or critiques on Tom Brady.

I've gotta say, im watching this luck fellow vs the chiefs, Dude is brilliant.

Like hes throwing the ball so well EVEN the chiefs are able to catch them, over and over again.

Smart dude.

Smart dude who got the last laugh.

Sherman is an idiot (and IMO a cheat) but I'd take that guy on my team....Would turn the secondary from good to lights out....
