So maybe I was a little hard on Edelman?

Wait...am I the only one who read the thread title as:
"So maybe I have a little hard on for Edelman?"

...and thought to himself: "No, Reckedtrek...I do too."
I can't be the only one...right?

So glad JE has had the year he has, so many called him a JAG in years past. I hope they are able to re-sign him so we can see what he, Amendola (with an actual groin), and Gronk (with his new robotic knee), and the healthy rooks can do next year.

I suspect you are not. ;)

Now lets think, Edelman was relatively injury prone right? Or I remember seeing that. And it took 1 healthy season in the offense, and he did this. It makes me wonder what amendola and Edelman can do at the slot position. We will have 2 studs at the slot position that I am sure, if they stay healthy for a season, can rack up huge numbers. These 2 guys have shown, when healthy, they are monsters at the slot. The question will always remain, can they stay healthy. Next year, gronk, minitron, amendola, and Dobson with vereen out of the backfield should be scary good. Got the seam route, deep man, 2 shifty slot guys and vereen. Just keep Tom upright!

Uhhh... I saves the ones I do have (when watching football) for the cheerleaders! :p And what's a "little" hard on?

not too long ago most of us thought he was nothing more than a returner.

hard work does pay off.

And he still has upside potential from here.

To all those excited about JE stats this year, I say wait until he has credible outside threats and a full compliment of non-rookie WR and healthy pass-catching TE's around him.

It's amazing the numbers he put up this year when basically he was getting quite a bit more defensive attention then he ordinarily would have. I expect an even bigger upside in the future.

Count me amongst those who thought he wasn't good enough and he wouldn't stay on the field all year. You really showed us, Julian! Keep it up in the playoffs and we will go far!

Make sure you catch the ball in the playoff Julian or they'll all turn on you again faster than Rex Ryan on a cheeseburger.
