This game is just a disaster. could have handled losing a game we shouldn't. but losing gronk for the year too might kibosh our playoff hopes. F$ the Refs and F$ this game!!

Low hit. My guess is that grok tore his acl.

I think he tore everything ala Winslow. Won't be seeing him until mid next season I bet. Gronk is not long for the NFL.Pats never have luck with skill players. I blame the refs for allowing defenses to mug players like gronk just because they are TE.

Pp

Of course the screen works 3rd and 12. What the **** else is new.

I guess this insures a SB victory.

I don't care if they lose Gronk and Brady, there is no excuse for this.

Matt Chatham ‏@chatham58 59s
You force defensive backs to go low, that's what happens. Extremely unfortunate, but either you go low or you risk fines/penalties. #Gronk

Anyone who uses that argument is quite frankly an idiot.

YOU CAN'T HIT SOMEONE IN THE HEAD SO YOU HAVE TO HIT THEM IN THE KNEE!!!!

FFS shoulder down to the thigh is easily a big enough target area.

Chatham is wrong. Knees have always been understood to be off limits. It's a chicken **** way to tackle.

3 and 12 defense go f yourself. This team has no pride

Terrible injury season. My lord... Not to mention the triple homicide.

Damn. Going to be really tough to score.

Between all the major injuries on the Pats and across the league and the poor officiating across the league, this has been one of the most unenjoyable seasons of football in general that I can remember.

just the worst day possible. nothing inspiring + gronk injury.

This is just terrible. The injuries to this team this season is just unthinkable, but it happens. :bricks:

We have been fighting all year - NOW we need some REAL fight.

I am getting so done with the NFL. I am sick of watching our players getting so hurt. I am very close to being done.

Ive been thinking the same thing, goodell and the owners have ruined it. I say the owners because they hired him and renewed his contract.

Time to get black out drunk.

I want mallet. Mallet is a real man.

I don't even care if we win or lose now. This is sickening Gronk worked so hard to be back at 100% and this dirty ******* hit happens. I want to throw up.

...

If we're talking common sense, this is correct. But in Goodell's bizarro NFL ... everyone I'm following on Twitter — from writers to Pereira — is saying "legal hit." That's the idiocy of this situation, that in Goodell's world, they are correct.

Yes he was, you launch at a players knee - in any sport - for one reason, to cause injury.

Thug move, didn't even attempt to tackle him he just saw the chance to take Gronk out.

Where the Fyck was he gonna go? It's not Ward's fault. I feel terrible for Gronk. The NFL is the blame. Can't go high and if you go low your ending careers. The big bang clock was right smh

Hate to say it, no gronk no playoff wins
