The Official Patriots vs Browns Game Thread

Those who can, check the Philly game. Shades of the Bears/Pats game from a few season ago.

I'm confused. Since we get all the calls shouldn't the refs overruled their whistle right on the spot and just made something up? That's what everyone always tells me

hightower finally makes a play and then gets robbed by the refs.

Been super critical of Hightower, but that was a hell of a play by him. Damn refs

Unbelievable. The officiating just gets worse and worse. Pat's should be up 7-0 right now, instead, they are behind 3-0 because the refs don't know what they hell they are doing. :bricks:

That ref is not fit to officiate. Given that fumbles are automatically reviewed, that was just INEXCUSABLE.

Yeah, I thought the whistle is irrelevant now. All that the whistle does is not allow an advancement in this situation. It is reviewable and the Pats should have been awarded a fumble and recovery. The ball was clearly out before the whistle.

If the refs blew the whistle that fast int he first superbowl against the giants, we'd 4th lombardi.

so we now get a whistle when a guy is thrown back...so if he doesn't happen to go to the ground, the play is dead?...I don't think so.
