I hope their's an archive at WEEI (?) of the interview they did with Vince and a Pats marginal receiver prospect he went to high school.

Before they were done they had Vince playing every position on the field including running back kicks. Funny as hell. He was getting all mock angry and offended when they doubted him and his buddy was backing him up.

Can't remember the guy's name though.

EDIT C.J. Jones. Funniest damn interview ever if WEEI saved it.

Also, I believe they made Vince field a punt with one hand to get the day off and he did it.

Not that we didn't need a reminder but it's easy to forget just how important and impressive a player Big Vince is. I do hope Nix slides to the Patriots and is thrust into a tandem with Vince next season. That would be near on impossible to run against.

We really miss his ability to move the LOS.

One of the things that is easy to forget with big Vince is what a crazy athlete he is. I remember an interview where in college as a joke they had him play DB and he got a pick which stopped everyone laughing. Not so much that he got the pick but the way he did it a graceful catlike twisting move. Then there is the explosive power. I am 6'4 300 pounds and can get about 6 inches off the ground despite being able to leg press a ton. Vince is bigger and can dunk a basketball. Yeah he is a different body type but he gets the rare label guys like Eldeman and brown earned. Football player, position doesn't matter he is just going to be great. Get well soon #75 I expect to see you manning the middle again next year
