I'm really dissapointed thus far. I haven't read anything about an injury.

He looked promising and showed good speed taking his ones pass for 24 yds in atl. Anyone have any inside info? I don't have much hope for him to suddenly pull a 360, just curious as to whats the problem.

right now it looks like his Taylor Price 2.0

How many veteran WR's have come in and made instant impact on this offense?

Not too many.

How many rookie mid round picks who missed a good portion of TC have come in and made an instant impact on this offense?

....Give him time. Even if he doesn't contribute at all this season it doesn't make him a bust already, ex. Shane Vereen.

At the moment it is fair to compare him with Price. Neither looked that impressive in college, both were combine warriors, and for the kicker were both late for camp.

I honestly don't expect a Vereen turn around because Vereen actually showed very well in college and cal is a running back farm.

Boyce looked pretty good in college though.

Called being a rookie .... is this thread serious?

The guy is a 4th round draft pick in his first year who missed a good chunk of TC and you are "really disappointed" in him so far? WTF??? Are you serious?

Boyce is 3rd in career receptions at TCU, 2nd in yards, and 1st in TD's. He showed a little something in college.

Agree with you, but in defense of English language he didn't actually say "in him".

If Boyce was his Binky it is fair to be disappointed that he didnt breakout the same way that I am disappointed every week I didnt win the LOTTO.
(course it might help to buy a ticket once :D)

Cal is a RB farm?! Marshawn Lynch makes it a farm? Shane Vereen barely has over 600 total yards. Let's hold off from making him the gold standard.

He's buried on the depth chart behind rookies that are running better routes than he is and two veterans. Nothing more, nothing less. I would be interested to see what he could contribute in the KR game, should he ever be able to get on the field and actually return one.

I think you want a 180.
If he pulls a 360 he will be right back in the same spot. :)

with all these guys needing reps just to get acclimated, someone had to lose out.

It is a bit more than being buried on the death chart. Amendola was out until last week. There were lots of possibilities if Boyce was ready. He was so NOT ready that the team signed Collie and Boyce has been relegated to being inactive.

Just turn 360 degrees and walk away

I was hoping he'd show up as a good option at kick returner. Apparently they don't trust him there.

whats up with boyce is we can only have 11 people on the field at a time, and brady would rather we limit the number of rookies WR at the same time to 2

vereen was redshirted most of his first yr and played sparingly in the 2nd. You are disappointed in him also ?
