JETS fan punches woman in the face

On the other hand I would wager that, even given the evidence from this video, things would be a lot worse if Ranger/Celtic fans sat together as fans do in the US.

My impression is that there's an entirely different temperament to rivalry football matches outside of the US than for most games here. I remember rumors that we'd get Rangers / Celtic here at Fenway, but it was just too risky a thing to do, given the fans. So we got Celtic and a Portuguese team.

That's silly - - hockey teams don't play basketball teams! :D

Then maybe you should actually read what people are writing and judge for yourself. The point is I would look at those people supporting Hernandez and call them idiots. Many Jets fans on the other hand are supporting this murdering woman beater because he is a jets fan. Go read the linked Jets fan message boards threads on the subject and then tell me they aren't lowlifes.

Murdering woman beater? Are you serious with that line? Damn you are bitter, I am just going to disagree and walk away from you.

Big wins lead to **** talking, I heard plenty last night and even am guilty of joining.

If you don't like the thread, avoid it. It's that simple.

You DO know what happens to people who enter threads to complain in multiple posts that the thread shouldn't exist, don't you?

Threads with 20+ pages have conflict, so don't imply that it is an issue for me to voice my opinion. OP needs to take the loss like a man instead of searching for NY crimes.

Wait...you think that my criticisms around the pathetic Jet Stadium security and the deplorable behavior of fans to rival fans is related to the Patriots losing a game? Seriously? SMH.

No. I can tell you with 100% certainty that my thoughts on this person's behavior and those that excuse that behavior have nothing whatsoever to do with the outcome of a game.

I can list 10 worse crimes from NY today, but it would be moved, and quickly forgotten, the fact this is sitting still is a big indication that it relates to the loss. I believe this is a Pats forum, so a non sport related NY thread says something...

Am I serious with that line? I am going to assume that you are totally talking with no actual facts of what happened because that line is 100% fact. The person in question is an ex-convict that murdered someone, has three felony's on his record and struck a woman and this is the person jets fans have chosen to side with.

You continue to make judgements but refuse to read the actual thread so you don't actually have any idea what this thread is about and how it relates to football but not the game.

The reality is that the Jets fan base has a long history of deplorable behaviors that rivals every other fan base other than the raiders. Whether its there ritual sexual harrasement of women or the multitude of fights that break out unchecked by any sort of security. Its this history that earned them the second worst ranking behind only the Raiders based on hospitality to rival fans and fan knowledge. This latest event just seems to reaffirm the notion that things have not improved down there in the swamp.

Further, your notion that this subject is something that has only come up on this board since this past Sunday makes me wonder when the last time is that you've been to this board. TLet me introduce you to the Jet's Sucks thread that covers the reprehensible nature of the fan base as well as the sucktitude of the team and has been running strong for at least the past three years. This unfortunate chapter is just a minor verse in the long sordid history of the New York Jets.

Do those ten crimes involve Pats fans attending a Pats game?

This IS patsfans.com, genius. Not www.hotdogsellerswhogotmuggedindabronx.com

Many of us go to other stadiums to cheer on the Pats. It is TOTALLY relevant to many on this website. You can scream your displeasure as loud as you like. But there are many of us who are interested in this subject of fan safety at away stadiums.

You don't want to discuss the subject? - - then go past it. Nobody is forcing you to read the thread.
