Re: Per Twitter: Talib, Amendola at practice; Washington, Kelly still out

Gotta have Talib on Hartline this game,Hartline has been pretty good against NE.

Not worrying as much about Wallace.

Wallace can be basically neutralized by shading McCourty to his side of the field. I agree that Hartline's going to be the real problem, but don't sleep on Clay either. I'm already mentally preparing myself for the fact that he's going to have a career day.

Re: Per Twitter: Talib, Amendola at practice; Washington, Kelly still out

No need the rush the Glass man back,:nono: I woud give DA one more week. I hope he's able to stay healthy in the Second Half.

Re: Per Twitter: Talib, Amendola at practice; Washington, Kelly still out

good news they are both out there..hopefully they play sun

Re: Per Twitter: Talib, Amendola at practice; Washington, Kelly still out

Why don't they just cut Washington until he's healthy? They should have just signed Cribbs.

Good point like anybody is standing in line for Washington's service.

Even with his injury he's probably still faster than Blount. **** it, get him out there.

Re: Per Twitter: Talib, Amendola at practice; Washington, Kelly still out

still says he is noticeably limited however.

Amendola looks to be at full

Put Marcus Cannon back there. Who cares? Is there more of a useless position than kick returner in the NFL today? I don't get why people is so upset it is Blount to take a knee in the end zone over anyone else.

Personally, I am more concerned about the Pats' FB situation.

Lol agree with your point. We can all agree though that having someone back there that can occasionally break one would be nice. Every yard counts for this offense and they need all the field position help they can get.

I do hate all these changes the last few years. Limited padded practices, inconsistent penalty calls, and the total castration of the kickoff/return game has in my opinion, reduced the quality of the game.

Makes me think of the countless regulations and policies that start with good intentions and end up causing more harm than good.

Thomas Sowell and Milton Friedman always stress/ed to look at the consequences and avoid getting caught up in the "feel good" emotions that drive these types of things.

Re: Per Twitter: Talib, Amendola at practice; Washington, Kelly still out

I was thinking the same thing. We should of cut Washington and add Cribbs.
He looked pretty good for the Jets. Blount is trash as a kick returner. He rarely gets it back to the 20..

Armstead on a side field.

Talib on the field, but probably non-contact.

Amendola present.

Only players not spotted: Washington (grrr), Kelly (sigh).

Talib back is great news the guy has been the DPOY to this point in the season in my opinion.

Washington better have some big kick returns in the second half of the season otherwise I am seriously beginning to wonder why we resigned him after releasing him coming out of the preseason.

Is Amendola taking part in contact? If so it's probably 50/50 he makes it through practice without suffering a season ending injury, the guy should tattoo a red jersey on to his body.

I am not to worried about Kelly he is an older player so him not practicing doesn't scream - inactive for next game.

No, but going down 2 weeks ago with a noncontact knee injury and barely being able to put weight on it does.

Re: Per Twitter: Talib, Amendola at practice; Washington, Kelly still out

ya it looks like no kelly this week

Because Blunt rarely takes a knee

I like the youngsters seeing the reps anyway if it was my call I'd probably just shut Kelly down until after the bye week and make sure he is 100% I could see a leg injury lingering with a 32 year old 325 pound guy if he attempts to play at less than 100%.

Is that Tom twitter or Tim Twitter, cause i don't trust Tim.

he has 10 KR for a average of 23 yards per with a long of 29 so he's best return got him to the 24 yard line LOL I think he need to take a knee a lot more

Re: Per Twitter: Talib, Amendola at practice; Washington, Kelly still out

Good to hear Amendola was cleared to practice hopefully no ill effects rest of week and is cleared to play. Be real cool to see Gronk & Amendola out there together.
Talib just bein at practice is a BIG PLUS, could have been a no-show so I'll look at it as a positive. Hopefully there's improvement by Friday.
I thought Kelly's injury was pretty serious, good to see Carter back & gettin ready to go.

Since the upside is the 25 yard line, the average is the 18 or 19 yard line, and the downside is a devastating fumble, it is truly baffling why he is not instructed to take a knee every time.
