The only thing that matters is that Talib is back for Jets

Cannot understate just how good and important he is. Did you see the leadership on D fall apart when he went down?

No chance that Stills play happens if he's on the field. He's as good a shutdown corner in the league that there is.

I mean seriously who else can hold someone as good as Graham to a big fat zero on that stat sheet??

Jets don't have a great TE or a great WR like NO...so no we need gronk back more then him at least next week wise

Although I agree 100% in your summary of Talib I think arguably it's more important that Kelly is back next week in a match up with the Jets!

The injuries we've had this year are ridiculous!

A loss of Mayo would be huge but we have a bunch of good linebackers. We only have 1 top flight corner. Just 1.

I doubt he plays next week.He has had hip issues in the past so better take some time and heal up.

Mayo is the leader of that LB core. We are playing a jets team with all below average WRs. We can get away without Talib

i would much rather him heal up and be ready for the long haul than see him hurry back and struggle vs the jets, all season, and through the playoffs.

talib has a hip flexor injury...even if it's a light one...it will take a few weeks aka not next week

Jets, Dolphins and Steelers are all coming up on the schedule before the bye. Let Talib and Mayo rest next week. Amendola is done for a while, IMO. He did not look good after that hit. Hopefully one or both of Talib and Mayo are back for the Steelers game.

We can beat the next 3 without him imo.

I really hope he plays next week, but i don't think he will. He didn't look very good when he was walking to the locker room.

It doesn't and it would be a huge hit loss but I think with Hightower, Spikes and Collins we're in a better position to get through his absence then we have with Talib.

when I think of hip injuries...I think of roosey Colvin's injury.

talib needs to toughen up and get back out...I don't care if he's hobbling....he's good...played well against graham.

Okay, I agree that the man is important and I hope we can retain him, but the D did not "fall apart" after he left. He wasn't on the field when they held the Saints to a crucial three-and-out that forces a field goal instead of a TD late. Two three-and-outs to close out the game and even give the Patriots a chance to win the game. Do you realize they should have lost after Brady threw the pick? The D held them to a FG. C'mon, give them their due credit.

With all that said, I do not like the thought of a prolonged absence. That hip has become a nagging thing for him, though.

So true about Talib and his importance to our D as a whole. Gotta Give D credit they could have folded and hung tough couple of times with minutes left gave Brady 1 last shot to complete that drive and victory.

That stills catch on 3rd and 20 was inches away from being deflected. Dennard played a heck of game as well.
