I'm putting faith in Talib to keep Julio quiet. He may get beat once or twice but i don't see him getting beat that much if we double Tony

Offense has been good. Only 3 drives, pretty quick game. But they've moved the ball each time, and stopped themselves the 1st time.

Defense: GET OFF THE FIELD ON 3RD DOWN!!!

Ridley needs more touches, why is Blount carrying the ball?

Is Gonzalez really gonna retire? He isn't playing like Favre in his late years. He's playing incredible.

Except Brett Favre choked when it counted.....Gonzo is kicka $$

not sure this offense can really play much from behind. They need to stick to the run more especially unlike in the last drive they went to passing too much.

Patriots got 10 points in three possessions. That's pretty good. The problem is it's hard to win anything if you don't have the ball. Got to try to get Atlanta off the field a bit quicker.

It will be interesting to see what the D has in mind for halftime adjustments.

They're getting decent push up the middle, time for Ninko to earn some of that new contract and have a meeting of the minds with CJ.

How? Explain. You've yet to do so :)

1st drive: 3rd down inc to an open Thompkins....throw off line, would have been a circus catch.

Last drive: 3rd down inc to open Thompkins....Brady got jumpy in face of pressure, throw way off line.

I love Brady as much as the next guy on this board but the "he can do no wrong so it must be the rookie's fault" attitude is bogus.

Good first half, Atlanta is a heavy weight.. while some folks will whyne and bytch about how many yards have been given up, the score is still 10-10....

In the Georgia Dome...

This is about what I expected...

So it's a second half game. I think we are in a good position to win.

I hope Bolden can find his way back into the game, that drive with basically all runs was awesome to watch.

I keep thinking a run or two after the big KT catch would have led to a more favorable chain of events. I hope to see BB Jr. back as well.

The defense still having issues with TEs. They need to Double #88 in the second half.

The FO let all of the RELIABLE weapons on offense walk out the door. One of the highly paid Tightends that this offense was built around is in jail and the other is still too injured to play. And the big free agent WR they signed is now injured as well. Now they have a bunch of rookies out there that they obviously don't trust, hence the gutless kneel down.

You really need to take your head out from between your legs and get a clue. That was NOT a gutless kneel down. That was SMART football, particularly with only ONE time out left.

The Pats front office let only ONE "reliable" weapon go. That was Welker. They had no control over Hernandez. They had no control over Gronkowski's injury and re-injury. And there was no way to know that Amendola would get a groin injury (different than the 2 catastrophic injuries he's suffered). So, please stop with the whole doom and gloom, the FO sucks garbage rants already. YOU should be better than that since you claim to be an intelligent Pats fan.

The first one was right in Thompkin's hand. Does it have to be right in the numbers, gently nestled, for it to be the WR's responsibility to catch?

The second one, you said it yourself, he was under pressure. So, yeah.

A back shoulder fade would have been a circus catch....

the 3rd down play was also catchable. Now were getting on Brady for making a receiver make plays most receivers in the NFL make...

well if you don't create any negative or zero plays on defense its hard to get off the field when you don't have a creative scheme or impact palyers

True, to suggest that none of it is on Brady is absurd. He made a horrid decision on the bomb to KT, but his rookie receiver turned a likely interception into big yardage.

Cant put it on the D much. Offense has to score TDs in the RZ. That is the difference in this game. D is shorthanded without wilfork and they have a lot of people to defend.
