Thought I'd better post these before they get too old. My buddy and I splurged on seats in the first row, 10-yard-line, and got some close-up shots. Shots 2 and 3 are during warmups. (The guy posed with the buffalo is my friend Tony.)

Great photos, thanks for posting those :)

Great photos Tune - thanks for posting! How did you like Buffalo's stadium? Went there myself a few years ago (Randy Moss was on the team and we blew their doors off) and the stadium reminded me in a big way of the old Fox, right down to the metal benches where we sat in the endzone and how close you were to the field. Did the Buffalo fans give you a lot of you-know-what in the front row? Or did you go incognito?

I've been there several times. I generally like the place except that the concourses get jammed up just like old Foxboro Stadium. The stands are much closer to the field than at Gillette. I always wear Patriots gear to away games; I don't care. You hear the regular "Brady's a ***!" "Pats suck!" nonsense, but the Bills fans we sat next to this time were longtime season ticket holders and very nice people. They pretty much know what to expect when New England visits. ;) What is is now -- 33 of the last 34? By the way, we parked a mile from the stadium for $5!

Yes, now that you said it, I remember you've been there before. Glad you always wear your colors! I always do too, but I'm a chick and I usually have a few kids with me, which cuts down on the chances of dying :). Were there a lot of Pats fans there? There were when we went. I remember in the old Fox that a lot of Buffalo fans used to come to the Pats/Buffalo game there, but now not so much (too much mediocrity for travel, probably). Yes, the outcome is almost assured, and that is great on the parking! I was relieved last week that the cost for my usual lot ($40 but more than a mile from the stadium) didn't go up at home!

Great pics! Of course it makes me even more bummed out I couldn't make the trip this year, it's always one of the highlights of year, that road trip to western NY.

They named their press box after...Paul Maguire?

There always are several thousand Pats fans making the pilgrimage. It was funny seeing so many fans jumping up and cheering in the end zone where the winning field goal went through.

By the way, Deb -- a new private lot has opened south of Gillette on Route 1 (northbound lane) at the relocated MOM's (Motorcycles of Massachusetts) and it's only $20 to park there. It adds about a quarter mile to the walk but to me it's worth the savings.

What's in Tony's bag? Adrian Belew's pants? All he has to do to go incognito is put on a baseball cap, looks like.
Gee whiz, nice friend to go to games with. You must be pretty good.

and Mom's LOVE Unca Joe Kerr...it's their daughters I have a big problems with...:bricks:

Oy, Tune. That walk is too far for me! I know where Mom's is (so, apparently, does Joker...)

Maybe I should start a conditioning boot camp for Patriots fans so a 1.5-mile walk to the stadium is considered just another Sunday stroll. ;)

At least folks no longer have to walk up that hill from the parking lot to the old Schaefer Stadium.

$5 for parking..that's when you know you are in Buffalo for a game and not at Gillette

Indeed. It's more expensive to park for Jags games than that.

Yeah, now they just have several ginormous staircases....

I want to know where he's parking.

He said a mile away? Hmmmm.

I've never paid that little in Buffalo in over a decade.
