Not too shabby so far for 4 million a year, eh?

He stopped a deep pass and had another nice PD off Holmes that Talib intercepted on the rebound. He's been great.

He's great in the slot and somewhat limited as a #1/#2 CB. I think many of us here recognized that.

Still, these last 2 games show you what BB was seeing in signing him to that deal.

He's been great, but saying that he 'stopped' a deep pass isn't exactly correct. Gates would be getting killed on here for dropping that.

Did Arrington hobble off at one point or did I just make that up in my head? I thought I saw #25 walking gingerly to the sideline during the game.

The whole CB corps played very well. Our top three, if they stay healthy, could turn into a fine unit. They played the same way these two weeks as they did in the six weeks that Talib was healthy in 2012.

He was even better in that first game last Sunday.

This guy has his niche down solid. Don't want to see him on an island, but he plays great, smart positional football (and he hits like crazy).

Posters can repeat that Arrington is only a slot corner as many times as they want. It simply isn't true.

A) Belichick didn't pay $4M a year for a nickel corner.

B) Yesterday, Arrington was the #2 and Dennard the #3. When we had 2 corners on the field, it was Arrington who play and Dennard who sat.

So, Belichick has a different opinion that posters. No news here.

Through two games, Arrington is making a strong case that his 2012 season was a fluke and he really is the guy who led the league in INTs in 2011.

Arrington was key in 2010 as well when Darius Butler had to be benched and we needed an emergency #2. Last year was really the only year he did bad outside, and he was still great in the slot

The top 5 players in our secondary are finally not scaring the heck out of me. We don't have a 6'3 corner like Seattle to run with a guy like Calvin Johnson, but not many teams do.

Now they just have to make sure to not have any miscues on the back end, and it will be the first season in a few years that I won't completely panic every time a journeyman QB goes back to pass.
