That's what BB said during one of his First Press Conferences with Brady as a Starter. It seems like so long ago now.:)

I thought that Parcells about Curtis Martin.

I don't know, the jury is still out on Brady. I mean, if he goes out this year and throws 235 interceptions, would his career 1:1 TD/Int ratio get him in?

Funny. When I Google "Brady don't put him in Canton yet," this thread is the first result.

I agree, don't put him in Canton yet.

We still want Brady to be playing. 5 years after he retires, first round ballot unanimous.

And if he went 0-16 in each of next six seasons, his won/loss record would be only one game over .500.

Exactly, nothing is set in stone yet!

On a serious note, what an incredible statistic that is.

The Bills do seem to like to share favorite quotes with each other.
Another quote I think they share but is mostly attributed to BB is "It is what it is". I remember Parcells saying that back in the 90's or I think I remember him saying that in the 90s :D

His protege BB used the term too.

Are you sure about that? Brady's first two starts were anything but impressive. He had 168 yards his first start with no TDs and no INTs. His second start was 68 yards with no TDs and no INTs. I don't think anyone was putting him in Canton after his first start. I think most people were sending "Get Well Soon" cards to Bledsoe after Brady's first start.

Yeah, but his backers would still have an impressive playoff resume to fall back on.

What you need is an 0-10-6 record, with a tiebreak division championship and a first round trouncing for the next 7 years. That way you'd have middling regular season and playoff records.

Then he threw for 364 yards and 2 TDs against the Chargers, so maybe it was after that game?

Did Tom Brady retire? What am I missing?

Hang on for three more days, for the love of God. The off-season is almost over, you lunatics!

And remember that combine photo. Now he is a world hunk icon approaching David Beckham heights.

No,that INT stat is reserved for Mark Sanchez....if he ever starts this year.

BB has used that quote about a number of guys; BUT I would dispute (based purely on my own recollection - so I reserve the right to be wrong) that he ever used it talking about TB. As someone else said his first couple games and you could even argue his whole first season as a starter was not that impressive to anyone but BB (mostly cause most folks judge on stats and BB was judging based on film and seeing TB's decision-making).

If Tom Brady throws 0 TD passes and 97 interceptions this year, he will match the career TD/INT ratio of Brett Favre
