AWESOME New Tom Brady UGG Commercial

I can't quantify the girliness... altho in fairness I will say it is probably the LEAST girly Uggs ad I've seen.

And the progression seems even more foolish... he won in high school, and at Michigan, and in New England... because of his shoesies? C'mon. He won because he outworked everyone and never friggin' quit and HATES to lose. He can wear New Balances with arch supports and still do that.

Me thinks ye misses the point of the commercial. See reactions of various women (who buy lots of UGGs, myself included - the boots are awesome).

Hey, I know Tommy could pick his nose, wipe it on your sleeve, and you'd cherish it forever. LOL I think the world of him too, but he ain't perfect. And Ugg's ads are just a SMALL thing. But go ahead... get your knickers in a twist about it. :D

You're the one whining, gramps.

I thought that the concept and the production values were really outstanding.

The only thing I wanted to see was Brady wearing a watchcap with his peacoat. THAT would've given him more of a "Southie" look, that whole Boondock Saints thing. :)

Well done video. I like it.

I think you are missing the point that because Brady is such a "Gamechanger" he wears Uggs. They are meant to be for men that aren't afraid to be gamechangers in their fashion choices, like Brady. Its not for everyone. Some of us would rather look like Brady in his Uggs, rather than tough Favre in his Wrangler jeans.

I agree. You are no "hater".

However, I see a commercial with Tom Brady on a bus with his teammates from different sports and different stages of his lifelong journey. It tells a great story of his football trajectory. The guy has fought through an ACL tear to regain the top of NFL quarterbacking

You focused on the "girly shoes" and ran away. I'm not going to draw any conclusions.

Not to mention the unheralded and oft-forgotten journey that Tom Brady had to make just to become the 299th pick and sit the bench as a backup for a sub-average football team and franchise that only knew disappointment. Now that he has achieved what he has. Most people outside of New England just assume he has always been a pretty boy that didn't have to work very hard. I wonder if Peyton, Rodgers, or any other 1st round pick could've achieved what he has under similar circumstances. Come to think of it, they still haven't achieved his status even with a comparative "head start". Tom can model whatever the heck he wants as long as he still plays QB for NE.......I don't really care.

That's not really Studfeld is it?
Not unless he also had plastic surgery. I think the comment's because the guy's also wearing #86.

[Besides, unless the commercial was shot in the last four days, it would have been pretty impossible to shoot that with a player who hadn't made the team yet, right?]

It would be preferable if the face of the franchise had a rugged look similar to Milan Lucic or Patrice Bergeron (esp when he had the gash on his nose). Football is a rugged sport. Now if Brady were a Soccer player on the other hand, NO ONE would say he looks girly.

LOL at Patrice Bergeron looking rugged.

Gisele is a very lucky woman, IMHO.

All I could think of when I was watching the commercial (with no sound as I am at work) is, "Damn, he is so good looking..."

...he looks awesome and frankly, better than 99.9% of the world men in this world...

I'm not whining. I just reacted to the ad. Is this a forum where only certain viewpoints can be expressed? That would be unfortunate.

And I ASPIRE to grampa-hood. My son just proposed to his girlfriend, and they're getting married this fall. I'm hoping for our first grandchild 'round about the open of 2014 training camp. :D

Congratulations on the engagement.

However, I was reacting your reaction. "Girly". First the shoes are girly, then the ad is girly. Everything's girly. As if girly is the worst thing you can be in the world.

Know what else is girly? Swimming from Havana to Key West in 53 hours without a shark cage. That's damn girly.

Don't take offense. Actually, I'll let you in on a little secret, Bella: It's hot when a woman sticks up for her fellow "girls" this way. And 99.9% of the world's men would agree with me. :bolt:

great Commercial and not just the shoes but Brady's whole outfit is nice, the only problem with the shoes is the price I will give $500 for Salvatore Ferragamo shoes but I just cant see my self giving $200 for UGG

Brady could have done a lot more endorsements in his career--he probably could have made more $$$ in endorsements than playing. I admire Brady for not chasing the materialistic stuff...he seems to let that stuff chase him

Four more days to Sunday.
