16-0, same as every yearly prediction. :)

SB XLVIII: 18-0 Patriots vs. 18-0 Seahawks

Patriots 28-21, Tavon Wilson stops Russell Wilson at the 1 with no time remaining, reminiscent of SB34. He is forever remembered in Patriot lore.

First Half: I think the schedule plays out well for the Pats. The first 3 opponents are (knock on wood) relatively easy and should allow the offense to get their feet underneath them. I think they grab a gut-check win against the ATL Dirtybirds, but subsequently fail to show up the following week against the Bengals. I have Gronk returning against the Saints and giving the already improving offense a nice boost.

They go into the bye week with a NFL best 8-1 record.

Second Half: After a good showing on MNF against the Panthers, I have the Pats falling just short against the Choke Artist and his Donkeys. It will be a close game that will just not favor the Pats, but will make them a stronger team. I also think the Pats fall victim to the "Road game in Miami in December" syndrome and lose their 3rd game on the season. They proceed to finish the season on a quick, 2 game winning streak and claim the #1 seed in the AFC with a 13-3 record.

Playoffs - Divisional Round: Patriots beat the surprising Dolphins handily with a 35-18 win. The Fish managed to get the 6th seed and upset the Bengals in the first round of the playoffs. Alas, the Patriots are on a completely different level and Brady proceeds to light up Miami en route to his 3rd straight AFCCG.

AFCCG: The Patriots get revenge on the Broncs with a 27-23 win. Brady plays very pedestrian-like, but Ridley carries the team with over 150 yards on the ground. Manning throws 2 INTs, one off the hands of Welker and into the arms of Arrington.

Super Bowl 48: Brady finally gets his 4th ring with a win over the NFC champion...Dallas Cowboys. Romo finally managed to get his team over the hump with upset wins on the road against the Packers, Falcons, and Seahawks. But Belichick's defense steps it up against ex-Mr. Jessica Simpson and forces Tony the Terrible into fumbling twice and throwing an INT. Patriots win 26-14.

Yes, 13-3. If I would not have gone through each game, I'd say this is an 11-5 team but I think 13-3 is very doable. I've got a loss to the Browns as my headscratcher loss of the year.

Playoffs:
AFC
1. New England
2. Denver
3. Houston
4. Cincinnati
5. Baltimore
6. Kansas City

NFC
1. Green Bay
2. San Francisco
3. New Orleans
4. Washington
5. Atlanta
6. Tampa Bay

AFC Champion
Houston

NFC Champion
Green Bay

Super Bowl Champion
Green Bay Packers

I want to be the homer and pick the Pats but I'm not sure they can run the playoff gauntlet just yet. I hope I'm wrong!

11 - 5 with this schedule is a really good season.
Love the bye where it lands. Very helpful for the team coming down the stretch. This team will be battle tested come the playoffs and that's a good thing.

I'm confident... hard to pick between losing to the Ravens or Saints, but I don't see us going 14-2 and I think we'll lose one of them.

AFCG: Denver (12-4) @ New England
NFCG: Green Bay (11-5) @ San Francisco (14-2)
