Patriots CUTS

Remember when Bequette and T. Wilson were for sure going to be cut?

LOL at all of you.

I'll bet they see Develin as more of an H-back type, seeing they kept only three tight ends. I like Develin.

I'd love to see a return of the FB role in this offense. Other than the goddamn fullback draw, the play I hate more than any other play.

Did Stankiewitch get released yesterday or is he still around?

I can't imagine this is final, Tarpinian, McDonald?? Hooman and Develin?? Bequette? Six Safeties?

I'll predict we cut Develin, McDonald, and send Ebner to IR to get down to 50, then sign 3 players, either 2 DL and 1 OL or vice versa.

I think we're fine at DE since we have versatile LB's in Collins and Hightower who can move up to DE in certain packages.

believe there's still one move unknown at this point...down to 54. keep in mind, there will be more in coming days.

My thoughts exactly. This might be the 53 right now, but it's sure to change over the next day or so--maybe as many as 3 guys.

They must be holding both Bolden and Blunt to trade one of them vs releasing them for nothing. I'd be shocked if one isn't dealt for a 5th or a DT.

Holy, Cleveland really is the perfect trade parter. They just lost Hardesty for the season, so they need the RB depth. So sending over Bolden for one of their D lineman really makes too much sense if you ask me.

I don't like it either, because it seldom works.

Most surprising positions are Tight End and Defensive Tackle.

BB is no fool, so I'm guessing there is already a plan in place to acquire more depth.

Either through trade or the veteran free agent market, (once contracts become non-guaranteed), I have no doubt that these positions will look different in a couple of weeks.

NYG seems like a better partner. They lost Andre Brown.

Something like that, although the Bolden seems to be genuinely injured at the moment, so he's another IR candidate.

The obvious guesses at TE are Fells and Ballard, if they can sufficiently de-gimp.

You're kidding right? People have been calling for their heads for months.

Nobody said for sure, they were predicted as cuts as were 50% of the other players on the roster at one time or another. Like Cunningham or Dowling.

Wanting someone to be cut and guaranteeing it are two separate things, fyi.

Did I miss something, was gone most of yesterday, but, WR Mark Harrison, was he released or PUP'd or IR'd ? Plus, you know the Jets will sign Quentin Simms.

He is on PUP with Armstead.

What's the Seymour talk I've been hearing about? I'd like to assume it's just fan rumors, but with this team you can never be too sure..
