The 2013 season: The Jets suck (as usual)

This is brilliant! But look, here is their media trainer:

Joe Namath Drunk - YouTube

When that happened live, it was the most uncomfortable thing in the world to watch. It's amazing that Suzy Kobler hung in there as well as she did.

Of course, there is no doubt in my mind that she had to know that he was hammered before they agreed to put him on camera.

Interesting. We in the UK thought that it was hilarious on so many levels.

Even if you're an alcoholic, it's hard to get as absurdly out of it as Namath was. I mean, he couldn't even manage "Chad's great. He's my boy." Is that you, Broadway Joe? Then there is that pathetic outfit -- like some kid with his Chad Pennington jersey. Dignity? No -- this is the Jets. The terminal uncoolness made us laugh.

On the other hand, it also took apart the whole let's-have-hot-young-women-as-sideline-reporters-but-let's-pretend-that-the-fact-they're-hot-young-women-has-nothing-to-do-with-it rubbish.

Seeing hypocrisy exposed is always good for a smile.

Sorry. We're obviously just less kind and sympathetic than you guys.

Oh sure, let's see you guys shoot 6-year-olds and start a political groundswell for gun rights!

You haven't even dropped an atomic bomb in anger. Give me a break. :D

Dee is NOT going to live up to the hype..becasue he will always be compared to Revis...so he will be called out numerous times by the jets this year making him even less of a factor

Milliner is going to be a bust. The guy has hands of stone how many interceptions did he drop in college? I will continue to maintain that Rex Ryan is the worst coach in the history of the NFL the Jets should have kept Mangini. Maybe the hire McDaniels next season after Rex Ryan is fired finally.

another scandal in Ratland....

From the same genius mill that has brought us such gems as "don't have a canary","you pats fans are whistling gypsy if you think..." and "for all intensive purposes"..I give you the 2013 Norm Crosby Malaprop winner and STILL champion...

No ****, what's your point?

Obviously, it was a pre-season game, turnovers exasperated the score, but nobody wanted to hear about that excuse when the Pats won in the same fashion last year.

In the end, it's a game that Belichick gets to use in the film room, but to lose that bad, and seeing the regression of talent on the field, it was pretty significant to watch. The offensive side of the ball is in complete transition, and Brady is suddenly playing with a bunch of young and untested kids.

gee...hope they don't exasperate the score next week

It sometimes amazes me how scores get exasperated. They've been known to cause scoreboard malfunctions and can mess up computers when you try to type them. Damn petulant things.

I'm pretty sure that is what also happened to the NASDAQ yesterday. Is it a coincidence that it and the Patriots both breakdown to exasperation yesterday? I think not.

Quite true. Our preferred stance is standing on the side sneering at the afflicted. You bring the guns, we'll bring the satire ... ;)

Maybe rayray was confused with the term "exasspirated". Sometimes turnovers are exasspirated. We've seen Sanchez do that.

Well Jets Insider exploded with the Pats' loss last night. Half the board act like the Pats will go 5-11 and the other half are saying it is just the preseason. And they are killing each other for it.

Pats pounded 40-3 in season dress rehearsal game...

santonio holmes sounds like a true jets player eh? Cleared to play..but it's practice..who wants to do that

Should we have a Rex Ryan being fired pool this year ... guesses by the week it happens?
