J. Kraft told Sports Hub he made a phone call to check on Brady's status; he was told that it "hopefully did not appear to be that bad."

Hmm, really? I don't think this roster is worlds better than the Bills or Dolphins outside of the QB position, so if you take Brady away I think there's a good chance they'd be better than us and we could secure that top 10 pick.

Obviously I don't want Brady to be hurt seriously, but I'm just preparing myself and looking for the positives if it is serious.

It tells me that he's trying to make it clear that they're not certain of anything yet. They suspect that they know how bad it is (or isn't), but they can't know that for sure without more proof. Sounds like good news to me, if anything. At least we know that they suspect it's nothing too major.

According to my sources familiar with Belichick's thinking, Brady is day-to-day and everyone is a little banged up because it's football.

I think brady will be fine and the team is being just taking extra precaution. he probably tweaked it and they didnt want to risk any further injury.

and here everyone is posting as if he is 100% gone for the season

Lucky TMZ isn't the main source for sports news. They pretty much have Brady six feet under.

Another HUGE blow for the New England Patriots (and female football fans worldwide) -- 'cause Tom Brady suffered a brutal knee injury during a team scrimmage today ... and it looks bad. Real bad.

Brady -- who was wearing a red "keep your damn hands off me" jersey at the time -- had dropped back to pass when the pocket collapsed on him.... and it appears a lineman fell on his knee.

Brady dropped like a sack of potatoes ... clutching his left knee -- the same knee he destroyed on opening day back in 2008.

Brady was eventually helped off the field and is currently undergoing evaluation.

Paging Tim Tebow ...
