Oh, I know what you're talking about. As I have seen some of those waves. I just try to keep my debates civil and treat others they way I want to be treated. Kindness is very important in any situation.

To be completely honest, I am genuinely impressed with this aspect alone from the new members. They seem to have a pretty decent attitude when it comes to agreeing/disagreeing, and anything in the middle.

It hasn't always been that way around here, so the more civil minded people who are able to talk football and not resort to childish activity, the better.

There will be pissing matches, there always are, but if you keep a civil minded approach things will go much smoothly for you in my opinion. Let the small amount of douches be douches, and accept my apology in advance for anything that I ever say to offend you

This is the best of the opposing teams' boards that I've visited. Steeler boards are too busy trashing all of their players and coaches, spewing bile at every mention of "Ravens", and obsessing about a particular retired Raven, to have an intelligent conversation. Browns fans are too busy thinking of ways to raise Art Modell from the dead so he can die again. Bengals fans? They're different; not "good" different, just different.

Here, I can actually talk football with fans I'll probably want to check in with when the games count in January. And whenever I'm having a bad day, I can log in and watch the video of the Butt Fumble. Best thing since Larry, Moe, and Curly.

Yup. For me it is unparalleled in that it is probably the worst forum around. So much blind hatred against everything that is not the patriots. Overall it's just a terrible forum with a lot of stupid people who hates everyone that won't praise every little thing the team does.

Hey, thanks for the kudos, but this sentence has a lot of unnecessary words:

I hear ya. My wife complained to me last year that I loved football more than I loved her. I said, "yeah but I love you more than hockey":confused2:
