Have to keep if moving with all the nonfootball news, but who do you all think will have the biggest season offensively, regardless of position.

Well, I had a poll of options with

Aaron Dobson, Danny Amendola, Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen, Julian Edelman, Josh Boyce, Donald Jones, Rob Gronkowski once he returns, Jake Ballard, Brandon Bolden, or LeGarrett Blount

Well Tom will be Tom. It's hard to say. Because as long as everyone is producing and helping the team, that's all that counts.

Aside from Brady of course; Gronkowski will return in time for the opener and take his place next to Calvin Johnson and Adrian Peterson among the best non QB offensive weapons in the NFL.

I'm still predicting Aaron Dobson to exceed expectations, breakout and have a great rookie season. He has the tools, talent and now the resources.
"Guys like Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald, Julio Jones, Marques Colston and AJ Green make having jersey numbers in their teens a great thing!" :rocker:

A poll without a poll... what is this Inception?

I don't know a ton about Dobson, you appear to be high on him, in multiple threads. I'm excited to hear that people like you and many others are so high on him. He seems like a good kid and its been a while since we had a WR that came in as a rookie with his skill set.

I'm certainly excited for Dobson too, but until we know for sure that he's been able to pick up the playbook and offensive scheme on enough of a level to see significant live reps, we should expect a gradual sort of blending in my opinion.

Obviously, TC and preseason will provide much more of a glimpse as to how far he is progressing.

One has to think that Belichick has some kind of viable plan in place for this position, so the fact that he isn't attempting to pick anyone else up may be viewed as a good sign.

Amendola. Brady relied upon Welker even with the presence of Gronkowski and Hernandez and he's going to have to rely upon Amendola and Ridley/Vereen to carry the load early this season, and will still rely upon him heavily when they are at full strength. I think they would have liked to move away from a slot based offense but circumstances have put them in a position where they will probably have to count heavily upon Amendola to keep moving the chains. If they stay healthy then hopefully they will evolve into a completely rounded offense but right now they are definitely a work in progress, albeit one that is loaded with talent and led by the GOAT. I expected Amendola to be in the 80-90m REC range but now think he will end up being around 100 or possibly even over that mark.

Ridley. If we cant pound the rock, we are toast. Plain and simple. Doesn't take a Belichick to figure that one out.

Did you realize Gronk had more than double Calvin Johnson's TDs' last year?

I look forward to having a healthy Gronk this year but not until at least game 3. He may play before that although I don't see how he could be the Gronk we know and love before gm 3. But my anticipation is that Amendola could have a huge season and surprise even Rams fans. 100/1000+/14 TDs. I think that's realistic.

Zolton Mesko

Amendola is going to shut up a lot of his doubters. Monster, monster season awaits this kid.

My friend just said and I quote and he is a Texan's fan "if you are asking me because of your forum well, honestly I think despite what some idiots that don't know football think you guys are lucky to still have the talent you have. But when you talk about talent, you guys have both better versions of what you had in the past, which is quite scary. Shane Vereen and Danny Amendola are like 2.5 upgrades over both Danny Woodhead and Wes Welker, they can do everything the same, better and then offer even more. And you better believe that with the way people are talking sh&t now, that's going to bring harm to many many defenses across the NFL, I have a feeling":rocker:

Did the team doctors tell you that?
