Mario Williams at it again...poking fun at former Patriots player Hernandez

BIG_DIA_CROPPED.jpg

Is he still trying to get back that engagement ring after his ex wouldn't take him back?

"After breaking up, Williams would later come back to Marzouki pleading for her to take him back," What a schumck!

IIRC, didn't he do something similar last summer when he signed with BUF too in regards to taking a shot at the Pats?

That obviously didn't work out too well for him.

Of all of the problems and concerns that I have at the moment, Buffalo and Mario Williams surely aren't one of them.

he should not make fun of hernandez he may get out one day and find him

Yea all these guys have to be concerned with parole, or some Latin Kings up and comer looking for some cred...

sometimes football players can be *****es just like highschool girls...god.

but i loved the pic.

I must admit, I did chuckle a little at this.

Agreed. A little too much self-righteousness here from members of a fan base (sadly putting myself at the top of this list!) that used to cheer wildly for a guy who turns out to be a likely murderer and a possible multiple murderer.

Truth be told, if I had to choose (and I'd rather not have to make this choice), I'd prefer having a drink with Williams over doing so with Hernandez, though my preference in either case would be to rearrange my sock drawer.

That's a funny picture, I like it.

Well..... it seems that the more we are learning about Hernandez's life outside football, the more it looks like a GTA game. I see no problem with it (the pic). Hernandez's personal action are not a reflection of the Patriots any more then Rae Caruth's actions were a reflection of the Panthers.

The Man committed crimes, not the Patriots. We need not take these stuff hurled at Hernandez personal.

So did I. Some of you really need to wash the sand out. It was a funny tweet about a guy under investigation for homicide that is no longer on the team.

"It was a funny tweet about a guy under investigation for homicide."

Are you serious??

Some of you have watched Pulp Fiction one too many times.

The only part that upset me was him putting NEW ENGLAND under the GTO.

Well that's where Hernandez is from, not just because of the team he played for.

I'm not offended by it and I usually get a good kick out of things that alot may find offensive, but if you're Mario is it really worth it trying to look funny by using this? AH seems like the type of guy who's tight with many people capable of harm and very little to lose. Just not smart IMO, if I were his employer/family member/friend I probably wouldn't be thrilled with that.

I fail to see any positive in Williams doing this. It's a very sad and very serious situation all around, yet Williams is treating it like it is a laughing matter to make light of? It's one thing for comedians on late night television to joke about; it is another for a fellow NFL player to do so.

I have seen on other boards where Buffalo fans attempted to rationalize Williams' actions by stating that he is apparently a part-time police officer with a license to carry firearms. I have no idea what that has to do with Williams posting the cartoon; that seems to be a real strawman argument. If anything, as a police officer it makes the action worse and brings up the question of his capabilities as an officer when it comes to his decision making.

OK...who's gonna be first to play village idiot?.... Mario, you win.

You knew this was coming.

Any player with half a brain wouldn't touch the subject with a 10 foot pole.

One would think that, after all those suicidal text messages to his ex-fiancee were published, Mario's orderlies would keep him away from any and all communication devices.

Mario Williams' ex alleges 'suicidal' texts

People in glass houses.........

too bad he plays for buff

I think the ridiculousness of that graphic is fitting for the ridiculousness of hernandez's behaviour. The fool was acting like life was GTA.

The various pics are morbidly funny, sadly.

However as a Bills fan, Mario, shut the **** up. IMO this is NOT something a fellow player, a guy who may have friends on the Pats should do.

Gain what? Stupid. And as other have stated, these thugs are bad news man, I would not want anything public out about them with my name attached to it. NOTHING to gain.

Yes, no comment on Mario Williams... I just found the picture itself to be very fitting.
I would also like to add though that although the situation is indeed very serious and it is crude to make light of any aspect of it, we should not underestimate the power of ridicule in curbing violent and harmful but so-called macho behavior. You are not macho any more if you are being laughed at by your peers.
