Aaron Hernandez charged with murder

I just turned it on.
Renee Dupuis Superior Court Judge. I really have been out of this business for awhile. I remember her as an Associate DA out of Fall River

So are you now saying that people that Deus calls out are clowns? Thats' rich.
Deus has never been wrong about anything in his life and if you don't believe me, just ask him.

I was ripping him a new one last week, despite his efforts to lie about what I said, so he put me on ignore. He loves to argue unlike anyone I've ever seen so he'll only put someone on ignore if that person is pummelling him (like I was).

I'm surprised Deus and Andy really believe he was arrested. Probably photoshopped pictures...and all of the allegations are probably made up by corrupt and incompetent cops. The burying head in sand and blaming the media game last week was embarrassing. Just keep quiet if you don't want to jump the gun, but there was an avalanche of evidence mounting against him and all kinds of conspicuous behavior. Trying to make excuses, blame the media and come up with other scenarios was ridiculous. You guys really need to get a clue and maybe get a life away from the internet.

And another poster clowns himself....

This must be the day for it.

How's he going to negotiate his contract with the Ravens in jail?

It's been mentioned before, but I don't recall too many people, if anyone, saying that. What people were saying is that other posters shouldn't jump to conclusions until the facts are present instead of "according to sources" type reports. That's called critical thinking.
There have been plenty of people saying that.

As for critical thinking, my critical thinking has been telling me for the past week that this guy is guilty as sin and was going to be spending an awful lot of time in jail. A lot of people criticized me for saying that but as more comes out, it seems he was actually worse than what I originally thought.

So he told his fiance to stop talking to the police.

He may have been able to hide his criminal ties from the Patriots, but there's no way she has been oblivious to the extent of his activities. Which implies to me she is OK being with someone in that game.

You are welcome. Of course you using a comic book reference in your reply tells me all I need to know too. LOL
Do you realize that the fact the you realized he made a comic book reference says a little bit about you as well? :singing:

Deus would have told those cops to f-off when they came to arrest him. They would have respected him for standing up to them and probably left him alone.

This Hernandez crap may surpass Tebow or Jets Suck as the all time longest threads...

Where? Can anybody actually cite a post here?

As for what your definition of "critical thinking" is, it's falling woefully short. It turns out your suspicions were right. Congratulations. The rest of us wanted to wait for something concrete, like yesterdays arraignment and today's bail hearing, before passing judgment. Now that the rest of us have some of the facts present, we're forming opinions based on those facts. Unfortunately, that's not the way it always works in the message board and social media world, as I'm sure the Duke lacrosse team could certainly attest to.

And they got a lot wrong. The information they put out was vague, confused and often contradictory. They didn't do a great job piecing together a complete picture because they were to busy trying to get a scoop. As such, it was easy to lose faith in their reports and wait until an official statement was made. Stop trying to make it seem likely they were unjustly criticized. Their jobs are to report facts. When they do a bad job of reporting those facts then the criticisms are fair.

Further, your basic by the gut inference that "he probably did it" was the equivalent of guessing the number of marbles in the jar. It was a guess, you were the closest and you won! Congratulations! I have no idea what you think you won or what you feel you are entitled to but you did it!

Please get off your high horse and cite where I think that I am entitled to anything other than offering an opinion?

Admittedly I am not part of the fanbot "blame the media for everything" brigade that circles the wagons whenever anything remotely considered anti Patriot is reported. Lately the anti media snobbery has been more nuanced because they didn't have the whole and exact story spelled out to your satisfaction before yesterday.

I have zero problem saying the media screwed up at times but not to the point that they were or now should be part of the story. It went like this before the arrest- guy is suspected of killing someone but the barbs are flung at the press and those who believe some of the reports because AH is a Patriot...rinse-lather-repeat.

I'd still have Carruth at the #1 position simply because Rae took out a contract on a pregnant woman.

He paralyzed his son, intended to kill him, call me whatever but that is ahead of any murder of an associate (which is most likely drug/gang related). The fact he is getting out soon while his son is suffering is sick.

Can you try and be more biased next time? Maybe you could also imply that those of us who didn't jump to trust the media at first blush are also anti-semites who believe the media is controlled by Jews.

Examples have been cited, time and time again, where the court of public opinion and the media magistrates had found an innocent man to be guilty. Because I'm capable of reflection and introspection I decided to not jump on the 'he must be a thug' bandwagon.

Just because you were right does not make the process of coming to that conclusion before yesterday any less premature.

For those of you interested in possible gang affiliations, Ct. has led this area in training and identification, as they were affected first in this area with the onslaught of the Latin Kings.. below are two guides to Ct. Gangs... the second shows tattoos associated with them...

Before retirement, when I worked for correction, Ct. was a leader in gang identification in this area and often led seminars...

Have seen some indication that he was part of the "Bristol Bloods" which could be the invention of local media, which may or may not be affiliated with the larger gangs, or could just be a local thing.. or just a Hernandez posse.

Am I the only one who can't wait to see this reenacted on Ivestigation Discovery? The AH case will probably be the most watched ever.:pop2:

This entire thing is a black cloud of epic proportions

Oddly enough all the evidence presented by the media last week pointed toward obstruction of justice, which he presently isn't charged with. His lawyer mentioned the phone, surveillance tapes and his overall attitude during the investigation as positives:.

Not sure what to make of that other than, the defense has a lot of work to do.
