If you are disgusted, can you imagine how the Kraft family, Belichick, the front office and the rest of the team feel, including Hernandez's former teammates at the University of Florida?

Make no mistake about it - this is a Black Day for the New England Patriots and you have to be a special organization to overcome something like this.

My heart goes to the Lloyd family as well. No one deserves what they have been put through and I hope that Mr. Hernandez receives a fair and speedy trial and he should considering who is representing him.

Finally, I hope that if there were indeed two other people in the car with Mr. Hernandez and Mr. Lloyd, that they are already in custody or detained and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I find Mr. Hernandez to be callous based on the recitation that was produced for the court and if the facts that were recited today are true and accurate then shame on him for all of the bad acts that have been alleged.

This was more than just a simple video surveillance cover-up which is what I initially thought was the level of involvement. This all has the markings of premeditation.

Much like the marathon bombing, this high-profile act of senseless violence reminds the city and onlookers that human beings can be capable of placing little to no value on human life. But unlike the marathon bombing, there won't be an opportunity for the city - as it did with its first responders, its doctors, other medical staff, police, etc. - to counteract that sobering thought with an overwhelming display of the contrasting good humans are capable. I wish I had a suggestion of how to convey to your youngster, in a fashion acceptable for a young one, how humans are both equally capable of being both arbitrarily evil and altruistically good, but I am afraid I wouldn't know what to say.

Agreed. This is bad for him. Testimonials. Association. Video. They have several weapons. They may have motive. Victim was worried for his life.

Perhaps he takes a plea. I cant see a full acquittal especially if there are 2 witnesses

I concur. This is still America where everyone has the right to free speech but this is not the appropriate place to spew right wing propaganda. I don't begrudge him his right to voice his views on Newsmax or on Limbaugh's program.
Whether anybody likes it or not,in America, one is innocent until proven guilty. I have no sympathy for that POS Hernandez but he still has the right to a fair trial. Without the rule of law, we become no different than the dictatoriship he irrationally thinks we are in.
