Aaron Hernandez charged with murder

So basically this is what happened.

Aaron Hernandez allegedly threw his entire life and career and fortune away because Lloyd talked to people he didn't like at a club in Boston.

Nice judgement, buddy.

That is what is completely stunning to me. You would think it would be much more than that- perhaps the victim had threatened or abused his girlfriend, or that drugs were involved, or that the victim had knowledge of something that might lead to Hernandez being prosecuted.

But no... it all came down to small gossipy talk.

What a horrendous downfall.

what a nice guy...perfect citizen

AHern Whats'da FKn Thought Process Bro?! You Got Life By'da FootBALLS?! Signing a Multi'Million $ Contract, Your Young a Mansion Etc and Best TE Duo In NFL and in it every year to win a Superbowl. Sad day all around.

Defense already claiming this is a circumstantial case but that's some serious hope and prayers stuff. This is more then they had on OJ and short of prosecutorial missteps, the Juice would be in jail.

Innocent until proven guilty, sure, I understand that. But how anyone can come away from that laundry list and still think this is all just silly prosecutors focused on AH "because he's famous" is beyond me.

This is just what the prosecution showed now. I would not be surprised if one or both of the other 2 guys in the car have turned witness, especially when you note that neither have been named or in the spotlight (that I have seen).

This is a real shame, on so many levels.

Watching him standing there is all pretty surreal. I feel bad for the young kids that looked up to him. Parents will be having some tough conversations with their young ones. That said, it still pales in comparison to what the Lloyd family must be feeling.

You could easily read the tweets the victim sent as him knowing he was in danger and letting his family know who he was with.

It does.

There was a Tweet a couple of hours ago saying that by cutting him the Patriots forfeited getting money back.

They have an excellent chance of recovering it all, as well as negating the cap hit.

Hot dam the guy in deep. Now what about the other two people.

What a ******in idiot.
This sounds like one of the dumbest reasons to murder someone
And one of the dumbest ways to do so

He should've fled the country the second it happened.

I think one of the two friends talked cause the DA mentioned what Hernandez was saying during the night.

I'll tell you one thing... whatever gang he's involved with, he's probably the top of. Just the behavior and arrogance alone of what he apparently did...

So much for obstruction of justice charges. The Prosecution already have their entire case, with many details not only putting Aaron Hernandez at the scene, but as the murderer.

should i burn my ahern jersey in the street?

Based on the evidence, there are at least 2 others who should be charged.

There doesn't seem to be any direct evidence yet that AH is the shooter yet.

Edit: Actually, it sounds as though they already have statements from the other two.

Forgive my huge ignorance of the law - would the charge be any different whether AH pulled the trigger or just organized the kill? No, right?

So...granted we know AH isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but I always wonder why someone would commit a crime knowing (and he must've had just a wee smidge of an inkling) there is absolutely no possibly way in hell they'd ever get away with it.

I understand why this happens in situations of extreme poverty because there is much less to lose, but...really?

shouldn't be. If he set up the murder..he has just as much blame as the guy who pulled the trigger.

Yup, they're alleging that he fired the shot that killed Lloyd. Shot him twice, allegedly, and he was still conscious enough that he raised his hand to attempt to block the first. Messed up.

Am I the only one that saw the "blood" tattoo on Hernandez hand?

I have never in my life read 11 entire pages of a thread and had chills to the bone the whole time.

I missed the arraignment.....had to pick up my son. Read it all here.

I truly, honestly am so shocked, so stunned, there isn't a word to describe it. I said when this happened I was sure he couldn't be the shooter. I can't believe it. I can't BELIEVE it. What a complete nightmare. And I'm just a fan of the team! I can't even imagine what Odin Lloyd's family must be living through.

If this is true, dirtbag is too kind a word.

They laid out a ton of detail for an arraignment, seemed to want to seal the deal on no bail.

Also, unless the other two occupants are going to be co-defendants, you have to wonder if they struck witness plea-deals.
