I'd love to be able to stick my head in the ground and hope for the best.

But where there's smoke, there's fire. He either did it, was there when it happened, or knew about it. Then he apparently attempted to hamfistedly help cover it up and hinder the ensuing investigation.

I don't want to see an innocent person get in trouble, but if I vote with my gut, it's that he's guilty of something major and probably won't be playing for my team anymore.
