Can the people that want Hernandez gone answer me this one thing.

Were you completely against Stallworth being signed the two times he was last year?

I find it ironic it's only Raven fans trolling this forum right now, and I haven't seen as many Jets, Fins, or Steelers fans as usual. Ironic how they're the ones talking when their centerpiece of their SB run was a murderer himself. Stay classy, Ratbird fans.

Yeah classy. Ratbirds.

Can you show me the conviction record that he was charged with murder?

FYI. Hell at least I signed up to this board 3 years before you. :D

Actually, it's not a fact because when the surveillance equipment was destroyed has not been established. As has been mentioned, it could have been destroyed by Hernandez months prior.

LOL ... people destroy hard drives routinely - especially in the one currently protecting his house.

When both tight ends have been healthy, it's been excellent. I still maintain that we would have won the last 2 SBs if Gronk had stayed healthy.

The problem isn't the 2 TE formation. It's that we have two TEs who keep getting injured.

Mentally and Physically?? :D

I get how successful it can be. I get all of that. I'm just saying we should've had a better backup plan for when one of them would go down. We relied on that gameplan far too much, and when it failed primarily due to injury, it screwed us over. Having good depth at WR still proves to be very important, no matter how good of TE's you have.

Now people are just digging dirt on Hernandez.....

You don't understand, this is the only time in the history of the universe that someone got mad at a teammate and swore at them. Clearly Aaron is a psychopath.

Seriously, I love Wes but he always struck me as the sort of guy who could get under your skin. He reminds me of previous teammates. Little guys with a ****y attitude. You love them but sometimes you have to punch them.

none of us want him gone man. We just realize what is coming down the pike and are facing it..it isn't our fault you are not able to process data in your brain as quickly.

You are playing checkers while we play chess..It isn't your fault. Lead pain, glue sniffing, aerosol can snorting, etc may have had something to do with your lack of advanced cognitive ability...

We will attempt to guide you, just regurgitate what we say and everything will be ok.

Maybe everything you said about Odin driving out there by himself is correct...

maybe Aaron found out he was dead and wanted to call the cops, but his buddies didn't want him too and they destroyed his phone..then they realized it was all done on video, so they destroyed that too. Then maybe they told Aaron that if he said anything, they would kill his mother, or maybe even pin the murder on him...

that scenario is possible...doubtful but possible.

Pretty much. There are still plausible scenarios where Hernandez is completely innocent that account for all of the evidence so far. Acknowledging and hoping for this doesn't mean that you can't also acknowledge that they're probably not the most likely outcomes, at this point.

It seems like a huge part of the problem on this forum is that lots of people seem to think that you have to stand entirely on one side of the line or the other. Either:
  • He's guilty, and anyone who isn't 100% certain of that is a blind homer, or
  • Nothing's been proven, so even acknowledging that a bad outcome is far more likely than a good one is wrong
Fact of the matter is that you can (and most reasonable people will) stand somewhere between these two viewpoints. It's by no means a slam dunk that he's guilty, but realistically, it's more likely that he is than that he isn't based on what we know so far. Occam's Razor at work.

Ravens fans already had a peculiar definition of justice. Not surprised that's still the case.

"So what if our star linebacker got rid of incriminating evidence... so what if he wouldn't tell what happened that night... so what if he paid huge amounts of money to the victim's family... Ray's an angel!"

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 26m

Update: Police have prepared arrest warrant for Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez for obstruction of justice, per ABC News.

Yes but folks keep posting OTHER reporters' simple repetition of ONE source ABC News. So it's not as if Schefter, et. al. have independent sources telling him this.

That said the ABC report is from a Boston police groupie reporter who has lots of good police sources.

The ego you have is insane. Still Hernandez hasn't been accused of anything but we have posts like this.

I said I was sorry, alright? I rushed to judgement a little too fast. In fact, you're one of the posters who's been tolerable to Pats fans here. I thank you for that.

As for signing up before me, c'mon. 14 posts?? I've nearly 1,200 here. You have some catching up to do before you pull that card on me! :p

There's no suing to be done because telling someone you're going to beat them up is a threat. But, again, it's in the carefully chosen language where there are implications that push a certain narrative forward.

Example:

Wes Welker was involved in a minor scuffle in the weight room.
Aaron Hernandez threatened Welker.

There's no defamation suit to be had there, because both are technically accurate, but each one puts forward a different story when you read between the lines and especially when worded a certain way in light of recent events and media allegations.

Beyond that - what is impossible about the scenario I presented? What if Aaron's only role in all of this is using drugs and trying to destroy the evidence. How is that impossible? What if it wasn't even drugs or anything illegal, what if he and his two buddies had a big old gay threeway and he didn't want that getting out? What if his phone was loaded with hot penis pictures and he didn't want his friends, family and fans to know how much he loves wang?

You're only saying all of this is impossible because you're only accepting the media narrative. There are plenty of explanations other than Aaron eating Lloyd's eyes after stabbing him 3000 times and then having a professional clean-up crew sent by Putin to clean the murder dungeon in his mansion.

It doesn't matter if he is innocent or not, what is emerging to be pretty conclusive is that he obstructed a murder investigation.

BOSTON (CBS) – Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will be charged in connection with the shooting death of a 27-year-old Dorchester man, a law enforcement source told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 on Friday.

According to that source, an arrest warrant has been issued on a charge of obstruction of justice.

The source added that it is possible that charges could eventually be upgraded.

They must have "sources" too.

hasn't FORMALLY been accused of anything YET, but we all know it is coming. Why can't you get that though your skull?

LOL ... people destroy hard drives routinely - especially in the one currently protecting his house.

The problem is that you're jumping to a conclusion as to why he destroyed the surveillance footage, if that is what happened.

There are plenty of non-murder reasons why someone who realized they were about to be the subject of an investigation would destroy their own surveillance footage. Some of them are even benign and some of them are for what I would call minor offenses.

Yes, it's entirely possible that if he destroyed the surveillance equipment it was because it was evidence tying him to a murder one way or another but that is not the only possible explanation and acting like any other possibility is ludicrous is asinine.

I'm hoping it's just obstruction to justice and he was (misguidingly) trying to help his friends.

I know the Patriots do a good job controlling the scene, but he really did seem like a great guy. I mean he donated 50k on his own to charity. It's not like he was forced to do that. This whole situation is really disappointing.

That was a link to the pic ... that's all.

Thanks Icy - I think they need to redo that pic...unless of course this actually happened at the Recycling Center all along...:confused2:

And here I was wondering why the Ghetto Bird was flying over my house on Tuesday morning...
