Not to be facetious, but that was one of the first things to come out as soon as they named the victim. . . .

In any case, I would have been MORE surprised if this had just been some random person and yet Hernandez was involved.

Looks really bad on the surface. Obviously we don't know that all the reports are accurate, but taken at face value, there aren't a lot of scenarios in which Hernandez escapes jail time.

If the shooter was anyone in the car, Hernandez will do serious jail time even if it wasn't him.

Thanks for that update, i actually have things to do and will no longer be able to cover his second by second movements but i am guessing he then pressed down on the gas pedal and accelerated away from that light.

So the reports of incidents involving Hernandez keep rolling in. Here are some I found:

@alexjones: Hernandez believed to be the shooter on the grassy knoll at Dealey Plaza. Warren Commission could be reconvened.

If he gets arrested for anything regarding this crime it's going to be murder. I'm not sure what else it could be. He was either in the car and present for the crime or he wasn't. If he was, he'll be charged with accessory to murder which is murder.

Granted, I'm not an armchair lawyer like others here, so maybe there are lesser crimes regarding aiding and abetting he could get charged with, but those seem like post-arrest charges that would get negotiated as more confession come to light.

I'd think out of the gate all three will be arrested on murder charges and any further/lesser charges will be sorted out from there.

Maybe you should stop pretending like you know what the reality of the situation is. The sooner people start doing just that, the better.

At this point Hernandez needs to have a few friends take the fall for it and throw them under the bus. Additionally he'll need to make that fly with the media by claiming he's found god through this experience and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper while quoting the bible as much as possible when facing the press. If he does all that he'll go from murderer to role model.

The reality of the situation is pretty clear. You can cling to semantics like "imminent" to call the media liars who exaggerate and know one knows what is going to happen, but you are re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
