From NESN: Pats weight room records

I actually designed that sign, not sure if I'd get in trouble posting the a close up of the artwork though showing all the numbers...:(

Since the cat's out of the bag, I think you can tell us a bit more about it. I'm sure you'd get some attentive ears/eyeballs/monitors/whatever. ;)

W. Williams at RB didn't even make the '01 team, but played in the pre season, I believe.

I was trying to remember who the hell that was. Just goes to show how overrated "measurables" can be.

Mayo owns the LB competition

Bethel Johnson ran a 4.26 and benched 405. My god, what a waste.

Million dollar body, ten cent head.

He was by far the BEST of the failed draft pick wideouts after Deion Branch.
Scored TDs as a WR and KO returner. Helped win playoff games.

Tebow was brought in to break the QB bench press record. He'll have his name on that board soon enough :D

Ben Watson wins his position on both strength and straight line speed.

But not, alas, on hands.

Two things that jumped out at me:

1) Fred McCrary's squat record puts him solidly in the DL category (!!!)

2) Mayo beats Edelman in the X-drill and is neck-and-neck with Hernandex in the L-drill. I have no idea what those drills are but I would never have imagined Mayo competing with those two in some sort of agility drill!

Hern-idiot happens to hold two of the TE records. . . . or at least he did.

It'll be interesting to see if his name's been removed from that chart. I wouldn't be in the least surprised.

Nice to see some good numbers from T.Kelly as far as strength goes. That's a great sign for being a strong, powerful interior presence. I'm really looking forward to seeing him take some of the attention away from Wilfork, or vice versa.

Also, Ninkovich's strength record in the bench press also sticks out. He has proven himself to be a very hard worker and a guy who has overachieved to get where he's at.

I'd still have liked to see someone take over his role or at least split snaps with him on the line, but I assume that Belichick knows what the hell he's doing pretty well.

I'm betting it has already happened. He will washed away like a 'non-person' was in cold war Russia. All records of his existence will be extracted and buried in a port-o-potty frying in the summer sun at a rest stop on Route 24 in Brockton.
