One ground rule: no Patriots bashing, please. This thread is designed to rag on other teams. :)

On the one hand, the Texans claimed their game against the Patriots was the biggest game in the history of the franchise. . . . and the Patriots took them to the woodshed.

On the other hand, the JEST gave us a spectacular implosion on Thanskgiving. . . . but, of course, they are the JEST.

So: which team laid a bigger egg?

I know the Jets suck, but the letter jackets win this for me.

Well in the texans defense that was their biggest game in franchise history. Haha

I dont know ....butt fumble .....or jackets :p

The Texans just got their ass whooped. They were facing a superior team and got beat. It happens.

The Jests... Butt Fumble.

The winner: JEST by a mile.

He ran into his own lineman's ass on thanksgiving....why is this even a question?

The ButtFumble will be a part of NFL lore forever. Never to be forgotten. It will live in infamy on youtube.

The Texans first have to be remembered to be forgotten.

How can it not be the Texans, this game was to scale both teams as they went into the playoffs. Both had pretty much owned a play off spot. JJ watt was unstoppable. Yet the outcome was that JJ Watt was unproductive, it was a blemish in his season. The Texans thus went on to a loosing streak. And they didn't go far into the playoffs. Pats were in the way. The jackets they got prior to the game became a stigmata.

The Texans were ESPN and the NFL Networks darling child for 14 weeks. The game against the Patriots was billed as a changing of the AFC guard and then we carved them like a roast. I think the Texans game was more embarrassing only because people half expect that type of stuff from Rex Ryan's Jets now.

Has to be the Jet game, the Texan game will be forgotten fairly quickly by the average fan, OTOH the Butt Fumble will become immortalized as a symbol of the 45 year record of futility for that franchise.

That's a good point...
As much as of a smackdown the Texans game was, it is hard to argue with the butt fumble.

Maybe it isn't that people have come to expect that from Rex Ryan's Jets. Maybe it's the butt fumble showed the rest of the league what WE already knew about Rex Ryan's Jets.

Changing my vote!

Two words pretty much end this debate: butt fumble.

Surely, you JEST....two words, Butt Fumble. Carry on, please....

The Butt Fumble will always have a special place in my heart.

serious question? Of course it's the jets

How can it be embarrassing for the patriots to lose to the patriots? As always, we were one of the top teams in the league and they were one of the worst.

For Houston, this was one of the most important games in their history. They embarrassed themselves big-time.

I suppose that the jets are always an embarrassment. They are the worst team in the NFL and haven't been to the Super Bowl since before Joe Namath wore panty hose.

the butt fumble game was pretty epic but the jets only had like 3 wins going into that game Houston was the #1 seed in the AFC after that game game they droped to the #3 seed

The Jets easily embarrassed themselves more.

The thing about the great butt fumble is that, while that was a hilarious play, it was in the middle of an even more hilarious 56 second and 3 Touchdown spanking of the Jets.

One pass from Brady to Vereen where Vereen runs 83 yards for the first TD.
The Butt Fumble where Steve Gregory picks up the fumble and runs 32 yards in for the second TD.
And finally the kick off where Joe McKnight fumbles the ball into the air right into the hands of Julian Edleman who returns it for the third TD.

All happened in a 56 second beat down. The most hilarious 56 seconds I've ever seen.

I nominate the 2010 Jets on MNF getting their asses kicked into the ground when they were running their mouths about the AFC east being theirs.

That is the best of both world's, slaughter of a top AFC team (at that point in the season) and trashing the Jets. (Let's not talk about what happened a few weeks later).

I had to think about what made the texans game even get mentioned but a qb ramming his face into his own players ass and fumbling is so burned into my memory I don't even need to hit youtube to watch it again.
