Drama Queen

So, when things go not as hoped the first response is to blame someone else?

I'd like to go on record saying he will fail as a starting QB.

But he'll be a great Jet.

Geno has a great arm. He makes some really nice throws. He showed that many times over at WVU. He also showed weak mental focus. Almost every time he had to go against a decent defense, he let it get to him, early. He loves to try to force the ball into spaces filled with DBs and then sulk as if the resulting INT wasn't his fault.

Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey had a lot to do with his huge numbers too. The Jets don't have those sort of weapons for him.

Sanchez was only the beginning of the Jet's recent run of terrible football. Now we get to the good stuff.

There's now a good reason for Brandon Moore to resign with the Jets...:p

KSU B slapped Geno when they played last season and Bill Snyder (KSU HC) is good enough to coach in the NFL if he so desired. Assuming he wins the starting job, its about to get real for Geno when he has to face Bill Synder type coaching virtually ever week.

Reminds me of Drew Bledsoe, great arm and physical talent with a penchant to force the ball into coverage, except Drew had character and did not sulk or throw his receivers under the bus.

from butt fumbler to prima donna fumbler. the jets won't skip a beat! LOL

If you think Bill Snyder owned Geno. Wait till you see what BB does to him! LOL.

Lets be honest Bill hasn't owned many if any QB's lately.

What a douche.

You know, I'll bet this is really about the green room fiasco more than draft position per se. Smith obviously felt super-humiliated by sitting there all day and heading home without a hat and jersey.

If his agents warned him of that possibility and he didn't believe them, he got what was coming to him. But if they DIDN'T make it clear that round 1 wasn't anywhere near a certainty, that's badly done on their parts.

No Wonder Rex drafted him.......

Confidence is one thing, over the top whacked out viewpoints are entirely different

New York Jets - Say hello to Ryan Leaf 2.0

He possesses the perfect Jet attitude. When the outcome isn't as desired, have millions of excuses and blame everyone but yourself. And he is gonna lead the Jest..the more things change, the more they stay the same there, and I love that...

If he reckons he should have been the no.1 pick then he is not going to be happy with his contract. I'm looking forward to him holding out for a long time and then failing miserably when he finally signs and gets his first start.

His salary is slotted under the last CBA, so he wouldn't be able to accomplish anything by holding out.

Last year, the Pats absolutely abused a couple of QBs with their defensive schemes. Straight-up fooled them, and baited them into game-changing mistakes.

If they were able to do that without a lot of talent coming off the edge or in the secondary, then I'm cautiously optimistic to see what they can do now, with McCourty firmly entrenched at safety and Talib, Dennard, Jones, Hightower, and Wilson all having a full year in this defense.

obviously he has only the image of Flacco's 2nd half etched into his memory. A week earlier the Pats held Schaub and THAT offense to 13 points through 3 quarters on their way to a blowout 41 to 28 victory....he'll probably point to the 15 points in garbage time as "proof!" of Schaub's dominance. It never changes around here...the Pats sauck ,their defense saucks, their offense saucks and they didn't win the Super Bowl so they sauck.

And the new rules state they can't even re-do his deal until after his third year, right? So there's literally nothing anyone can do about his contract until 2016.

And I get the feeling that by then, he won't be worth much more. He's about to get a real cold dose of NFL reality.
