The Giants going with Damontre Moore is no surprise. Coughlin loves to build his team through the trenches. That's one of the many reasons why their program has won 2 SBs in the past 5 years.
And thats why they've beaten the pats. they put pressure on TB. I'd like to see the pats do that to other teams.

OK so...

whats left?

we could use a G, WR, and DT

we have two young safeties, i dont see us going that direction, and def. no more DE, LB, CB, T, RB, TE, QB

Did Jesse Williams fail a drug test or get arrested? The guy was a monster for Bama

The Steelers picked up Mike Wallace's replacement with the player most often compared to Wallace in Wheaton. Although the comparison itself is slightly wrong.

Coincidence?

I've never heard Wheaton compared to Wallace because Wheaton actually can run routes whereas Wallace is a "SandLot" player. In other words, Wallace just runs around to get open.

Oh look a Rutgers guy. Not a bad pick but doesn't get me excited.

Ditto. Nice player, much-needed depth, and the position was thinning on the board. Perfectly solid pick, but unexciting.

Wouldn't be a NE draft w/o a crappy DB. :bricks:

Well obviously Ryan > D. Rogers...yeah, no not buying that ****!

Tom E. Curran ‏@tomecurran 2m

Ryan's not overly fast 4.54 and is not seen as a very good man corner. Very good in run support. Seven picks in final 2 years at Rutgers

Greg A. Bedard ‏@GregABedard 2m

Good, solid all-around football player. Rutgers DBs typically better zone players. Ryan has man potential, good tackler

Now they passed on rodgers...hope he is there for the pats next pick or they trade up. Guy plays like boldin, big, strong, and can go up and get it.

I think I'd have preferred Jordan Poyer. I can live with it for sure, won't be doing a PatsFans flame out like some :)

Did we pick up yet another corner that can get burned easily?

Another Scarlet Knights CB. Solid pick. Logan Ryan is slightly similar to Devin McCourty. He has good speed, excellent ball skills. Not quite the overall athlete that D-Mac is but close enough to have a role on this team. Either as a back-up CB or on special teams.

Edit: Just to add, I don't think Ryan is going to be an outside CB. His play is better suited in the slot as he has better short area quickness but lacks outside CB athleticism. He could be the direct back up to Arrington whilst also pushing Marquice Cole back to strict ST duties or off the roster completely.

My main complaint: I can never remember which of Ryan Logan's names come first.

after him..there was nothing at CB..had to pick him up with the potential of talib gone next year

Is this a trick question?

Or do you seriously not see the difference between playing in the SEC versus playing in Conference USA?

:bricks:

Gotta love how you avoid the question. Typical of someone who talks out his arse, but when challenged, can't be bothered to actually answer what is asked of him.

I KNOW the difference between the SEC and ConfUSA. What I also know is that the numbers that Collins put up are impressive even for ConfUSA. Which flies in the face of your uninformed comment. It's why you continuously try to deflect and avoid answering.
