My guy said they lusted for Hopkins or Woods.....BUT.....Dobson was plan C. At least he/she got a name right.

Your guy? Really? If they listed after Woods, he was there at 29 for them.

I'm calling it now y'all - Matt Barkley will be our 91st pick. This guy sitting behind Brady will be a force in a few years time.

While Dobson is big and reasonably fast (4.55), he is not a huge YPC guy. 15.7, 13.6, 11.9 in 2010-12 with Marshall.

Thought Wheaton, Patton and Allen were all more game-ready. Guess we'll see.

Dobson - More upside than Allen, I guess. I still like. Big and Fast. So far I'm lovin that trade yesterday. We have drafted Round appropriate players. Please no Tavon Wilson reaches. One of Franklin, Allen, or A & M Moore would make a nice round 3. I don't think we will get any, should be long gone. Like Franklin over Lacey.

I like the Dobson pick but he will be a red shirt player and not very helpful with gronk and hernandez out due injuries.

Also for the folks wondering why Dobson over Allen and the like...

Perhaps they wanted more of a strict outside the numbers guy with the size and speed to win those jump ball matchups in isolation. Keegan Allen for all his great ability, may not have been that type of player they were looking for in that respect.

Dobson is extremely sure-handed. I cannot stress how important that will be in Foxboro. Tom never has a problem with receivers that are reliable and dependable. Hopefully this prospect will immerse himself in their playbook to have a chance to do some special things this season.

Nice marriage of need and talent there for GB. If he's got enough wiggle, he's going to help that offense out a lot.

Jamie Collins and Aaron Dobson. LB and WR. Very interesting and picks that I'm happy with. Hopefully the Pats get Dobson signed ASAP and get him out to Brady's compound to join in the receiver festivities. If there is anyone who can teach this kid how to run the routes the way that Brady wants, it's Brady.

Both should see playing time this season.

I'm not a Lacy fan AT ALL. Complete product of that insane Bama OLine.

Poorly, because Justin Hunter was still available there.

Is there that much of a drop-off? From what I read here a few pages back, Woods, Hopkins and Dobson were their top go-gets.

Nice call Borg.

Dobson doesn't thrill me. Will be much happier if he's paired with one of the quicker guys so I'm not overly concerned yet.

Get Wheaton and Lattimore and I'm a happier bunny.

And the pick of Dobson should shut the chicken littles up a little bit :)

Chicken Littles? WTF is the matter with you people. Until that pick, Matthew Slater was our best outside WR.

Wow, insanity has taken over the board.

Finally!

Love the Dobson pick, he's got everything we were screaming for and watching the clips i love the way he goes after the ball. 2 Needs addressed in 2 picks and i really like both of them as prospects.

Dobson has potential, but he is a project. I thought they would have gone for a more game ready choice.

Not loving the WR corp at this point at all. Let's hope that they can pull off a deal for a veteran.

Nice call Borg.

how is a 4.44 slow?
