patchick has done this for many years. But as she is on a leave of absence to handle all the money she won in the Powerball:), I'll do this for her this year.

As of now the Patriots have 5 draft picks. After the possible signing of Sanders they will be down to 4. Then they will probably trade down to pick up 1 or 2 more. Then they will probably trade Mallett to the Browns for their entire draft.:D

So here is how the contest works. Pick any 5 players that you think the Patriots will draft this year. It doesn't matter which round so there is no order. Just 5 players that you think the Patriots will have drafted when it's all over on Sat 4/27.

Good luck!!!!!

Here is last years contest.

As defending champ/co-champ I'll go first.

I'll admit I haven't a clue this year. I have no binkie. But I have done the work using on line sites, draft magazines, and my big book. I do see one thing this year that has been absent in other drafts, so here are my picks.

Brandon Williams, DT MO. Southern State
Jesse Williams, DT Alabama
Sylvester Williams, DT, NC
Terrance Williams, WR, TX
Brennen Williams, OG NC - Son of former Patriot Brent Williams.

Funnily enough thats seven "Williams" and still misses one we've had in for a visit, namely Duke Williams. I just wish there was someone called William Williams.

Im going with versatile and potential special team role players.

David Amerson-put him anywhere CB/S. good punt coverage.

Datone Jones- we would use him the exact way we tried to use shaun ellis but it would work this time.

Michael Buchannon-Big boy will be our edge setter and run a decent arc on passing downs.

Shamarko Thomas- bob sanders. definition of intensity.

Robert Woods-can line him up anywhere and has some return ability.

How can Bill screw-up this draft like he does most others? How about...

Matt Elam: the too-small Safety

Tyrann Mathieu: the too-small CB

Marquise Goodwin: the too-small WR

Nick Kasa: the useless TE

Abry Jones: the unproductive DLineman

Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah: DE ( If BB trade's Mallett )

Dallas Thomas: LG

Barrett Jones: RG/C

Mark Harrison: WR

Justin Hunter: WR
