Burning Welker's jersey?

There are reports that some NE Fans are burning their Welker Jerseys? WHAT??? The guy made a decision to go elsewhere...this is a business. The Pats didn't want the guy anymore....so he had to do what is in the best interest of himself and his family. But, he was an iconic figure here for the past 6 years.....and did everything and anything that was asked of him. Yeah he dropped the pass in the SB and 1 in the playoff game this year against Balt.....BUT how MANY big catches did this guy make when we absolutely NEEDED a first down, TD, or big play? Welker was the epitome of a TRUE Patriot here...and I will choose to remember him that way. Oh....and my Welker shirt will always be part of my Pats collection!!! Hope NONE of you real Pats fans burn this guys jersey......

I'll boo him at the game. I am a Patriots fan, not a Welker fan. How many SBs has he helped the Patriots win? Exactly, no need to celebrate a guy who only played here 6 years and brought nothin.

You burn Ray Allens jersey not Welkers. Why? Welker wanted to play here but the pats did not want him. Far as I am concerned Welker did nothing wrong.

You burn neither jerseys. Both were vital to their teams while they were here.
In both cases, the players and the teams had different opinions of the situations

Some "fans" are complete idiots, drunk, high, or all three. Nothing new to see here.

Reports by whom, mediots trying to stir up hits & trouble? I'll believe it when I see it. I will also give Wes a standing O when he is introduced. After that, he's the enemy, but not by choice.
